PeachyKeen Challenge 33

Hello! It's challenge time again! For my card I used the adorable stamp called Mouse Gets The Cheese. I used my Create a Critter cricut cartridge to cut out the sentiment and the two hunks of swiss cheese. {it should be some nice aged Wisconsin cheddar as that is where the PeachyQueen resides!} ☺
Here is the sketch for this challenge
I sure hope you will hop on over to the Challenge Blog and play along! Also, don't forget that you have until Sunday to enter for the $15 gift certificate to PeachyKeenStamps.com OR the Paper Doll Dress Up cricut cartridge! Scroll down to the Blog Hop post and leave a comment to be eligible to win. ☺

Ooh LaLa!

Why heeeeeeeeelllllllooooo friends! Happy Friday to you! The UPS man brought me the Tie the Knot cartridge today, so I had to break it in! I just LOVE this corset cut! CAAAAUTE! Just a simple card using the circle card from the Wild Card cartridge. Ribbon from dollar bin at Michaels.
I found the stamp at Michaels too...I just cut it apart to make it do what I wanted. GASP...I know, people don't like cutting their stamps! I don't mind. ;o) Well I hope you have a FAB weekend...Maybe I'll "talk" with some of you tonight over at Ustream for My Pink Stamper Live. I hope so! If you want to join in on the crazy chatty fun...CLICK HERE at 8pm central tonight!

DinoMite Dad Card

Hello! I am LOVING the new Gypsy update!!! I used the hide contour feature to remove the face that would have cut out in the layer 3 function. This way I was able to use one of my Critter Faces stamps to give my dino a cute face and still have his "spots" cut out. Which you can't see because I filled said cutout spots with lime stickles ;o) I went to Michaels this past week and picked up the new Martha Stewart punch around the page set called Optic Dot. It is a really cool double row, but I needed it to be shorter so I could fit my sentiment on the card...So I just covered up the second row of dots and voila! ;o)

While I was at Michaels I searched and searched for a Father's day stamp or set of some kind and found NONE! Boo! So I used the Happy Father's Day cut from the Wild Card Cartridge.

I hope you're having a DINOMITE weekend!!!!!!!

Teacher Thank You Card

My friend Steph's son will be giving this card to his teacher. I again used my Gypsy to weld two apple shadows from Create-a-Critter to make this shaped card. So, it's the same base as yesterday's card, but has a completely different look. I used my Calvin and Hobbes font to make the tag with his teacher's name on it. I thought it looked like a kid's writing. ;o) And to finish it off I added HUGE googlie eyes...we're talkin' HUGE!!! They are the size of a quarter! I got them in a variety pack at the Dollar Tree.
I hope this made you smile! It sure makes me smile! It might be hard to part with! LOL HAVE A WONDERFUL EVENING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You are ALL the apple of my eye!

Anniversary *double slider* Card

Hello! Happy Sunday!!! I meant to post this yesterday, OOPS! Anyhoo, I made this for my friends Drew and Teresa who celebrated their first anniversary yesterday....HAPPY ANNIVERSARY DREW AND TERESA!!!! They both totally rock! I hope you dug your card! ;o) ...Now, down to business...This is a double slider card and you can watch Joy's awesome tutorial HERE...Here is what the top looks like open after pulling the ribbon up...

and the bottom that pops out....
This style of card seems pretty complicated, but once you try it you'll be hooked! Oh, almost forgot, all the cuts on this card are from the Sweethearts cricut cartridge. Don't ya just love that tree??!!! Oh, another thing, I wrote their names in the hearts super tiny! ;o) Ahhhh the lovebirds! I hope you had a fabulous weekend....And here's to a great week ahead!

Everybody say it with me...
HAPPY ANNIVERSARY DREW & TERESA!!!

Big fat lovey dovey HUGS!!!

Lucky Ducky Card

Hello, and happy Sunday! I decided to break in the new Duck Dolls stamp set from PeachyKeenStamps.com today. I also wanted to make another St. Patties Day card...So I cut out a shamrock from my Paper Doll Dress Up cricut cartridge and folded her wing over to "hold" it. To make that work...stamp your image twice and color both. Then cut out one of them and flip it over and color the part that will show when folded over. Then add pop dots to the back to raise it up...and voila! Your lil' creature can hold something. Make sense? ;o)

You can see what I mean in this picture I think. Anyhoo, I used Cosmo Cricket's "Garden Variety" mini stack...Papertreyink kraft cardstock...and the ribbon is from the Earth Love collection also by Cosmo Cricket.  Well I hope you like it and have a great night!

Ducky Hugs,
Nikki

p.s. if you click the pictures they get BIG to see the detail. ;o)
