Design Team Friday PBD

Hiya and  it's another design team Friday for PinkByDesign. This time I made a "regular" card and a super simple gift card with the "leftovers". I used the Argyle stamp from PinkByDesign that is EASILY repeatable. Although ALL polymer stamps are "see through" I LOVE to use my stamp-a-ma-jig to help me with placement. I KNOW that other crafters are awesome at lining things up perfectly, but I am not one of them! LOL ...Anyhoozle...I used the MUST HAVE stamp set called Our Mothers for my cards. And if you are reading this...you HAVE to be thankful for YOUR "life giver"...which is what I call my Mommy...HAHAHAHA ...head over to Sarah's blog to see what the other awesome members of her Design Team came up with!!!!

Throwback Thursday

Hello! It's challenge time again! This time we were to  create 'Any" 3-D project meaning, treat bags, toppers, gift bags, a set of gift cards, or a set of cards... etc..... This time you can pick a cartridge of your choice {make it an oldie though} and I blew the dust off my Sesame Street Font cartridge. ;) I created my own "patterned paper" using the 2 stamp from Emma's set called Follow Your Dreams. You can see all her awesome stamp sets HERE in her store. This little treat bag is going to my friend Trina's lil' guy. But mostly it's a treat for me cuz then she has to deal with a toddler on a sugar high! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA I crack me up!!!!

Ok...head to Emma's Blog to see what everyone else made AND to play along!!! I look forward to seeing your creations! Happy Crafting!

The sentiment is from the Life's a Garden set from PinkByDesign. The patterned paper is from the Hello Luscious collection from Basic Grey.

Happy Easter!

Happy Mother's Day

Happy Monday peeps! I LOVE how this card turned out!!! :o) I stamped the Lace background stamp from PinkByDesign with a smokey grey ink. I then used my blending tools and distress inks in worn lipstick and pumice stone to get this shabby look. I used my Martha Stewart 3 in 1 butterfly punch for the butterflies that I used the same stamping technique on. I also gave them a good misting of perfect pearls in the perfect pearl {white} color. You can see the shine a little better here...
The sentiment is from Emma's set called Mom You Rock. I hope you like this one as much as I do! ;) I have a brand new chalk ink pad just waiting to get used...so, I'm off to get my inkin' on!

Design Team Friday Easter Cards

Hello and happy Design Team Friday for PinkByDesign. Our projects this week are all Easter themed. For my first card I used the twine that PinkByDesign sells and stitched along a scalloped strip of kraft cardstock...a little time consuming, but it looks cool so it's worth it! ;) I picked up a few packages of  these little chicky felt stickers last year after Easter super cheap!
The "from one chick to another" sentiment is from the Hoppy Easter set from PinkByDesign. Onto my other card....
For this card I used the 2 part Round Argyle background stamp to make my little segment of patterned paper. This set is easy to stamp in full repeat, but I just needed a little section. :)
The sentiment is also from the Hoppy Easter set. Hehe For peeps sake! ;) Okie dokie, that's it for me today! Head over to Sarah's {Pink Cricut} Blog to see what the rest of the design team made!

Have a FABULOUS weekend!!!

Bunny kisses...Bunny hugs

Hello! It's Throwback Thursday time again! Ok...I apologize right off for the awful pictures of my 2 page layout....I could NOT get any good shots for some reason. Anyhoo...The challenge this time is to create a scrapbook page {or 2 pager} using any cut from any Lite cartridge. For my layout I used the adorable Sugar and Spice lite cartridge which fit puuuuurrrrfectly with my Bunny Kitties! ;)
For my little circle sentiments I used Emma's Color Me Happy stamp set. The super sweet face on my little kitten is from the Critter Faces Medium set from PeachyKeenStamps.com. Pssst...can you see my little Jinxy girl sneakin' up to get a taste of Simba's bunny ears??? Hehehe I ♥ my kitties!
The face on my bunny is from the new Cute and Cuddly set from PeachyKeenStamps.com. Now pop over to Emma's blog to see what she and the rest of the design team came up with! I sure hope you will play along with us this time! :)

Speaking of PinkByDesign...Today is Sarah's one year blogoversary so she is celebrating by having a great SALE on some of her stamp sets...They are just 10.99!!! Life is like riding a bicycle...

Hello and happy Monday! I felt like stamping this morning, so I did. ;) I stamped my background with the Script background stamp from PinkByDesign. I then inked it with distress inks in tumbled glass and broken china. I then stamped the bike from the set called Bike from PinkByDesign. I used my Stamp-a-ma-jig to line up the wheels perfectly. Just an FYI...I LOVE that tool! The sentiment also comes with that set. ☺
Ok, I'm off to go play with some more stamps from PinkByDesign. ;) I ♥ stamping!

You're eggsellent

Hello! For my card today I used the Hatching Bunny die. I cut it out in white cardstock and used only my Tim Holtz Distress inks and sponge blending tool to color it. I colored the egg with distress ink in worn lipstick and spritzed it with water from a mini mister to make it look dyed. I colored the bunny with distress ink in scattered straw. And I used tumbled glass to color the two blue parts.

The sentiment is from the Hoppy Easter set from PinkByDesign. Ok, that's it for today! See ya later alligators!

Love Your Pet Blog Hop

Hello! Hope you're having fun hopping along and seeing all the cute pet projects! You should have arrived here from Emma, but if you didn't, head back HERE to the start of the hop. For my first card I used this fun kitty stamp from PinkCat Studio. She is a little crafty diva kitty! ;) She looks like my Jinxy-Cedrika!

The sentiment is from the All Star Baby set by Emma. See, works for FURRY BABIES too! And this next card has a fun story! My Mom and Daddy have 2 Yorkies...one is named Spike and the girl is Sugar. So when I was in Michaels a while back and saw this cute sticker I about died when I read the little tag hanging from her collar...is says SUGAR!!! SO SO SO SO SO Cute!!! I had to have it!

She had a baby pink bow, but I replaced it with an orange one.

The "I woof you" sentiment is from the Furry Friends set from PinkByDesign.

Next stop on the hop is GLORA...but first.....

The idea for this hop sprang from those heart wrenching ASPCA commercials on tv. Abby, our hop leader, was inspired to research the ASPCA and found out that every year they have their Prevention of Cruelty to Animals month in April and encourage people to Go Orange For Animals. Hence the color schemes you have been seeing. I personally give to the ASPCA and even my checks and return address labels help with the cause. :) If you would like to learn how you can help protect animals from abuse and ensure that they are properly loved...please visit the ASPCA'S WEBSITE to learn more.

Here are some pictures of my furry babies Simba and Jinxy...and my favorite backyard friends! I LOVE my backyard friends too!

You talkin' to me??? :)
and here is a digi page I did of the Painted Buntings that come to visit in the Spring

PeachyKeen Challenge 49

Hiya peeps! It's challenge time again! This time we have the above sketch to follow. For my card I used the brand new set called Faceless Bugs. SO CUTE!!! I have to give a shout out to my Nana {who is here visiting} for the GREAT IDEA she gave me for my bees' wings! She thought of the idea to stamp them on vellum. So I stamped them with embossing ink and heat embossed them with white powder.

I used the Small Polka Dot stamp to make my black dot patterned paper.

The sentiment is from the Bee Happy set. Ok...hop over to the Challenge Blog to see what my awesome Peachy Sista's have created...AND to see what you can WIN if you play along!!! Can't wait to see what you make!
