Don't forget to SMILE...and a Sneakie Peekie!!!

Hello! For my card today, I'm just going to dive right into the pictures of it..and I swear it is ONE card...
smile...
wink...
oh...
See, same card with four faces because it is a SPINNER card!!! The adorable faces are from the stamp set called Cute and Cuddly Faces from PeachyKeenStamps.com. The card is found on the Wild Card cartridge on page 51 and cut out at 5.5 inches on both the blackout key and the liner key {for the spinner circle. The flower is from the Hello Kitty Greetings cartridge on page 47 and is found on the clothes layer and cut out at 4 inches. I mixed up a drop of distress ink reinker and a tiny scoop of perfect pearls with water in a mini mister to give my flower some color and sparkle...
See it shimmer? OH and the sentiment is from Emma's {MyCreativeTime} set called Camera Shy. Head over to the Everyday Cricut Blog to see two more examples of this type of card. ;)

***Sneakie Peekie Time***

You are going to LOVE the new releases from Emma!!! Here I am showcasing 2 stamp sets that coordinate just beautifully together called... Inspiring Words and Inspiring Words Accents. These will be available on Friday. So PRETTY, right??!!! My sweet sleeping little girl is from the Playtime cartridge. Her precious face is from the Just Baby Faces set from PeachyKeenStamps.com.
I get a lot of questions about what kind of white ink I use and the answer is I NEVER use white ink. In fact, every white ink pad I have ever tried has ended up in the trash! I stamp my images with Tim Holtz embossing ink {my favorite} and heat emboss with white embossing powder.

Ok...I hope you found some inspiration here! NOW for chances to WIN some awesome stamps from Emma....Comment on this post and then head over to her BLOG and comment there as well!!!

PHEW...this was a LONG post! Hehehehe

Happy Crafting!!!

Ooh LaLa!

Why heeeeeeeeelllllllooooo friends! Happy Friday to you! The UPS man brought me the Tie the Knot cartridge today, so I had to break it in! I just LOVE this corset cut! CAAAAUTE! Just a simple card using the circle card from the Wild Card cartridge. Ribbon from dollar bin at Michaels.
I found the stamp at Michaels too...I just cut it apart to make it do what I wanted. GASP...I know, people don't like cutting their stamps! I don't mind. ;o) Well I hope you have a FAB weekend...Maybe I'll "talk" with some of you tonight over at Ustream for My Pink Stamper Live. I hope so! If you want to join in on the crazy chatty fun...CLICK HERE at 8pm central tonight!

DinoMite Dad Card

Hello! I am LOVING the new Gypsy update!!! I used the hide contour feature to remove the face that would have cut out in the layer 3 function. This way I was able to use one of my Critter Faces stamps to give my dino a cute face and still have his "spots" cut out. Which you can't see because I filled said cutout spots with lime stickles ;o) I went to Michaels this past week and picked up the new Martha Stewart punch around the page set called Optic Dot. It is a really cool double row, but I needed it to be shorter so I could fit my sentiment on the card...So I just covered up the second row of dots and voila! ;o)

While I was at Michaels I searched and searched for a Father's day stamp or set of some kind and found NONE! Boo! So I used the Happy Father's Day cut from the Wild Card Cartridge.

I hope you're having a DINOMITE weekend!!!!!!!

Dino-Hugs!

P.S. I entered this into the challenge over at MyPinkStamper.com

Dinomite card and envelope

Hi! My friend asked me to make her a card to send to a little boy who is dealing with some yucky health issues, and this is what I came up with. The card is cut from the Wild Card cricut cartridge on blackout at 5 1/2 inches. I stamped the dinosaurs on the spinner and colored them with my prismacolors and blended with OMS. I also did the same thing to the envelope. The "hello jack" banner was printed from my computer. Then I just snipped the tails and added pop dots to the middle to add dimension. I hope you're having a great day, hey, it's ALMOST FRIDAY. :o)

Nikki

p.s. Sorry the picture is so dark, it's super dreary again here in the "sunshine" state. ;o)
p.p.s. Forgot to mention that the papers are from the Archaic Collection from Basic Grey.

Spinner Pinwheel Cards

HI! ok, so i hate to toot my own horn but BEEP BEEP!!! LOL i am THRILLED with how these turned out! alright lets get down to the details...first i cut the cards with my Wild Card cartridge (page 51) on blackout at 5.25 inches...then cut the liners (the circle that spins inside)...i then CAREFULLY stamped my images through the windows making sure not to get ink on the front of the cards...i then colored in my aliens with prismacolor pencils and blended with odorless mineral spirits..........i cut the cute sparkly aliens out with my Everyday Paper Dolls cartridge(page 65) at 3.25 inches out of glitter paper...then white gel pen faux stitched around them...added googly eyes...the balloon is also from EDPD (page 43)
you can see in the second card how the little blue alien is "peeking" out...there are 5 total aliens that you can see when you spin the wheel...........all papers are DCWV
have a GREAT day!
nikki
p.s. when i have what i consider to be a good idea i like to do a few similar cards...plus, it's a good use of cardstock ;o)
