A PeachyKeen Ducky :)

Hello! Today I made a card to play along in the Peachy Keen Challenge. I basically took the springy theme of the photo and went with that. Here's my card. :)

I used the Duck And Egg Die and Duck Accessories Die from PeachyKeenStamps to make my sweet little ducky. :) I cut out all the pieces from white cardstock and used distress inks to color them. I'm not sure why the ducky looks neon in the pics, she's not neon in real life. ;) The face on the ducky comes with the Duck And Egg Die. So cute! 

I used Tim Holtz clear crackle paint on the egg. And I coated the top of the flower with clear rock candy distress glitter. OH, and for the background, I water colored with worn lipstick and dried marigold distress inks.

PeachyKeen Challenge

Hello! I'm playing along in the current PeachyKeen Color/Photo challenge. I LOVE these colors, so I busted out some inks and started stamping. :) Here's my card...

The inks I used are all Hero Arts Shadow Inks...Pale Tomato, Orange Soda, Tide Pool, and Green Hills. I stamped that fabulous greeting from the Reverse Sentiments set by PeachyKeenStamps with Pale Tomato ink. The I stamped a bunch of medium sized circles with the little circle from the December 2013 set. 

For the littlest dots I used a pencil eraser as a stamp. :) I filled my shaker with sequins, and added some to the front panel and called it done.

PeachyKeen Challenge

Hiya Peachy Pals! It's time for another PeachyKeen Challenge, and this time we have the above photo for inspiration. When I looked at this photo, I was immediately drawn to that gorgeous blue and purple sky. I also was inspired by the little circle that says challenge...here's my card...

I started by inking up the fabulous Cloudy Day background from PeachyKeenStamps with Tide Pool and Soft Purple Hero Arts Shadow Inks. I stamped it on white cardstock, and then sprayed with a mix of perfect pearls and water for shine. I put it behind the front panel that I cut a circle out of with a die.

See all the sparkle in the sky? ♥ And that greeting??? So beautiful! It's from the new set called Clearly Autumn Quart Jar Contents from PeachyKeenStamps. I stamped it with the same Soft Purple ink as in the sky. I finished if off with 3 Crystal Clear sequins. :)

Peachy Keen Challenge

Hello Peachy pals! It's time for another Peachy Keen Challenge. This challenge is a Photo Inspiration with the above photo. You can make anything you want, just use the photo as a jumping off point. When I was looking at the photo, I was drawn to the gradation in the colors on the flower petal. It immediately made me think of a sunset/sunrise sky. So that's how I came up with my card...

I started by inking up the Cloudy Day background stamp with Butter Bar, Orange Soda, and Pale Tomato Hero Arts Shadow Inks. Shadow inks blend like a dream! LOVE! Then I masked the face off of the Large Sun stamp so I could give it a different face. The face is from the Sweet And Silly Face assortment set. I colored the sun in just a few seconds with a blending tool and Butter Bar and a little bit of Orange Soda shadow inks. 

I stamped the greeting from the Baby Easter Bunny set. And I finished it off with my new obsession...SEQUINS! :)

PeachyKeen Challenge-Anything Goes!

Hello! It's time for another PeachyKeen Challenge. For this challenge, anything goes, so make whatever you want! :) I started by masking off the face of this adorbs monster from the Halloween Sweet Folks set. I just used a little piece of regular scotch tape to mask off the face. I stamped it on purple patterned paper so I could paper piece it. I gave her a face from the Sweet and Silly Face Assortment. 

I white heat embossed the greeting from the Eye Sentiments set. And to finish it off, I gave her glitter eye shadow with a sakura glitter pen. :) Pop over to the Challenge Blog to play along!

PeachyKeen Challenge

Hello! It's time for another PeachyKeen Challenge! This time we have the above sketch to follow. For my card, I flipped the sketch and turned that circle into a rainbow. :) 

I started by stamping the fabulous Cloudy Day background on patterned paper with Soft Pool Shadow Ink. Then I stamped and paper pieced that cutie rainbow from the February 2012 set. I used mostly papers from the Walk in the Park collection from Echo Park. Bright and happy colors. :) I stamped that sweet star from the February 2013 set. The face is from the Sweet and Silly Face Assortment. 

The greeting is from the With A Cherry On Top set. I added rock candy stickles to the clouds for sparkle. Well, that's my card. I hope it didn't blind you. ;)

Peachy Keen Challenge

Hiya! It's time for another PeachyKeen Challenge. The challenge is to make something 3D with metal on it. I chose to make a "3D" Easel card. :) I used the Teddy Bear Parade cricut cartridge for the cute lil' pirate bear. His face is from the Teddy Bear Assortment set. 

I used a silver pen to make his "metal" sword and hook. I added glossy accents over top to make it shiny. {and more sturdy}

The sentiments are from the new Eye Sentiments Set.

Hiya! It's PeachyKeen challenge time again! Our challenge this time is to create a card using hearts. Easy peasy! I kept my card super simple and stamped and paper pieced the absolutely adorable Thinking Of You Bear. I just love him/her! SO CUTE! :)

I stamped the love greeting from the January 2013 set on the heart. I then added glossy accents over top for shine. :)

As you can see, I kept my card super simple. I stamped the new Celebration Background and cut it into squares to follow the sketch. That background is super cute! 

I stamped and white heat embossed the banner and sentiment from the new December 2012 set. Lovin' that banner!

PeachyKeen Challenge 46

Hello and happy Friday to you! It's challenge time again at PeachyKeen. The challenge this time is to make an ornament. For my ornament, I used white acrylic paint to paint this chipboard snowflake. I mixed in a little tea dye distress stain to age it a bit. I let it dry and added rock candy distress stickles. I paper pieced the snowman from the Snow Gifts set. The face is from the Snow Cuties Assortment.

Peachy Keen Challenge 43

Hello! It's challenge time again at PeachyKeen and this week, anything goes! Yep, make anything your little heart desires. :) I stamped the adorable deer from the November 2012 set on kraft paper and on white. I paper pieced the white bit on the chest and colored in the bow with a spica glitter marker. I used a snowflake embossing folder for the sky and spritzed it with perfect pearls and water. I used rock candy stickles for the snow the deer is standing on. I white heat embossed the label shape and sentiment that are also from the November 2012 set from PeachyKeenStamps. 

I added a double twine bow and attached it with a snowflake brad from the Peachy Picks Kit. The white papers and the red patterned paper are also from the Peachy Picks Kit.

PeachyKeen Challenge 39

Hello! It's challenge time again and this time we have the above photo to use as color inspiration. I chose to use 3 colors that really popped out to me. Here is my card...

I started by stamping and white heat embossing the What Time Is It background. This background is just fabulous for birthday cards. I inked it up with shaded lilac distress ink, and another strip of it with crushed olive distress ink. I stamped the bird from the Lil' Tweets Birthday set a few times so I could use distress inks to quickly color it and then piece it back together. I used mustard seed distress ink for the main body of the bird. 

The sentiment is also from the Lil' Tweets Birthday set. I cut a talk bubble around it. :) Be sure to pop over to the Challenge Blog to play along with us!

PeachyKeen Challenge 31 Box it up...and SALE

Hello and welcome to another PeachyKeen Challenge! This time the challenge is to decorate a box. I made my "pizza box" using Sarah's {pink cricut} super easy tutorial video HERE. You want to use pretty thick cardstock for stability...and this pretty green is right in the Peachy Picks Kit this month! The sweet little boxes take no time to make and they are adorable! I stamped the Recess Jump Rope Girl and colored her with tim holtz distress markers and blended with water and a paint brush. I paper pieced her dress with paper from the Peachy Picks Kit. I used glossy accents to give her a twine jump rope. :) Here are more angles of the box...
