Nursery Rhymes card

Hello! In my continuing attempt to make and post a project from ALL of my cricut cartridges, I present to you this almost sinfully simple card. I used the Nursery Rhymes cartridge on this card. I don't have kids {well human ones anyway} but I just had to have this cartridge because of the font!!! It is one of my new favorite fonts EVER! So, here's my borderline boring card for today. I hope you are having a glorious day! I sure wish that UPS delivered today because I am expecting my first ever SU! order to arrive!!! Can't wait!

p.s. sorry if the song put you to sleep...I just couldn't resist! ☺

Hog Wild

Hi Ya'll! ☺ For today's card I used the Country Life cricut cartridge. It has some super cute images on it, and when I saw these pigs I knew they NEEDED PeachyKeen faces! So, I used the Critter Faces Small for their lil' faces. And I decided the sun needed a face too! I used the Cutie Pie Face Assortment for it.
The "Hog Wild" sentiment is from the Punny-licious set by My Pink Stamper. I hope you like my lil' card for today.  Hope you're happier than a hog in mud!

Sweet Baby

Hello! My friend Beca has asked me to make her baby shower invites, and this is one idea I came up with this morning. I used the Sugar and Spice Cricut Lite cartridge to cut out the adorable little giraffe. I made her a girl by giving her a pretty pink bow around her neck.
The patterned paper is from the Itsy Bitsy Baby Girl stack by K and Company. I swear the colors look much better in real life. The stamp is from PaperTreyInk.com.  REMINDER there is still time to enter for the $15 gift certificate to PeachyKeenStamps.com and the Paper Doll Dress Up cartridge! Just leave a comment on the Blog Hop post for your chance to win. PLUS make sure you check back here tomorrow for yet another GIVEAWAY!

Have a cricut-tastic day!

Peachy Keen Challenge 32

Hello! It's time for another PeachyKeen Challenge! The challenge this time is to create a card or a layout based on your favorite vacation destination. Your project also must include one of the following 3 things...buttons, brads ,or bling. So, for my card, I chose to do my favorite vacation spot Disney World. And, more specifically, my favorite ride/attraction the Haunted Mansion! I actually LOVE to wait in line for it because of the funny/clever things they have written on the tombstones. So to mimic that, I made up "stampy" sayings for mine. I actually cracked myself up with the middle one! HAHA!
Almost everything came from the Mini Monsters Cricut Cartridge. Here's what didn't...The clouds are from Stand and Salute...the moon is from Don Juan...and I hand cut the little cobblestone path to the Haunted Mansion. I used the Make a Monster Face Assortment for my two ghosts. For my menacing moon I used the Monster Mash Face Assortment. I hope you will pop over to the Challenge Blog and play along with us! You could win Boogie Board Max, a Memento Ink pad, and an acrylic block! Have a great day!

Kool Mustache!

Well, here it is, the card I told you I dreamed about. Get it? Kool-Aid Mustache! Hehehe I crack me up! I bought a TON of different flavors of Kool-Aid, so I will be making lots of variations on this card/treat. You just pull the ribbon up and BAM here comes some yummy fruity beverage mix!

The Kool-Aid stained stache is from the new Billionaire Cricut Lite cartridge. I bet Provo Craft didn't have a pink stache in mind when they made that cart! LOL!!! The cardstock is from PaperTreyInk.com and the patterned paper is from the Delovely collection by Cosmo Cricket. I hope you're having a great day! I am soooooooo looking forward to True Blood tonight!!!! ;o)

I used my new B is for boy Cricut Lite cartridge to cut out the cute little alien dude. The scalloped circle is cut from the Sugar and Spice Cricut Lite cartridge. I stamped my alien's face with the new Make a Monster Face set from PeachyKeenStamps.com. I Love You Card

Ok, so I was feeling a wee bit guilty for only posting a teaser today! I was going to save this for Wednesday, but what the heck?! I used my new Give a Hoot cartridge for the birds and banner. I have to say that I wasn't really "in love" with this cartridge and only got it because it was dirt cheap...But then I got it home and I do indeed really like it! I'll be honest, it does have some pretty strange looking animals though! LOL I used Cher {a.k.a. my Gypsy} to get the birds big enough to fit my long 4 x 9.25 inch card. The "I" and "U" are from the Storybook cartridge and the heart is from the Don Juan cartridge. The patterned paper is from the Max and Whiskers collection by Basic Grey.
I really REALLY love this collection! I have made a few cards with the fun doggy patterned paper already, so stay tuned. ;o) Ok, I still hope you're having a GREAT day!!!! See you tomorrow with the new stamp fun!!!!! And there may be a mini blog hop to boot!

Happy Stamping!

DinoMite Dad Card

Hello! I am LOVING the new Gypsy update!!! I used the hide contour feature to remove the face that would have cut out in the layer 3 function. This way I was able to use one of my Critter Faces stamps to give my dino a cute face and still have his "spots" cut out. Which you can't see because I filled said cutout spots with lime stickles ;o) I went to Michaels this past week and picked up the new Martha Stewart punch around the page set called Optic Dot. It is a really cool double row, but I needed it to be shorter so I could fit my sentiment on the card...So I just covered up the second row of dots and voila! ;o)

While I was at Michaels I searched and searched for a Father's day stamp or set of some kind and found NONE! Boo! So I used the Happy Father's Day cut from the Wild Card Cartridge.

I hope you're having a DINOMITE weekend!!!!!!!

Puppy Love Picture Frame

Hello, and happy Friday! I made this frame for Megan from AboveRubiesStudio to say thank you for including my projects in the DVD she made along with Tammy Skinner called Gypsy A to Z. You may be wondering why there's a picture of Donny Osmond in it...She is a huge fan of his! She even has pictures with him that I hope will fit in the frame. ;o) This is the first frame I've ever made and it was super fun! I mailed it on Monday along with some other "thank you" goodies. She really made me HAPPY, and I hope this will make her happy. ;O) I hope all of YOU have a fabulous weekend!

Teacher Thank You Card

My friend Steph's son will be giving this card to his teacher. I again used my Gypsy to weld two apple shadows from Create-a-Critter to make this shaped card. So, it's the same base as yesterday's card, but has a completely different look. I used my Calvin and Hobbes font to make the tag with his teacher's name on it. I thought it looked like a kid's writing. ;o) And to finish it off I added HUGE googlie eyes...we're talkin' HUGE!!! They are the size of a quarter! I got them in a variety pack at the Dollar Tree.
I hope this made you smile! It sure makes me smile! It might be hard to part with! LOL HAVE A WONDERFUL EVENING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You are ALL the apple of my eye!

Deer me!

Hello friends! I am in LOVE with Create-a-Critter! And the faces that Peachy Keen Stamps make to go with this cartridge are TO DIE FOR! I mean this little fawn is cute with the "regular" face on the cartridge, but the stamp just takes it to a whole new level of adorableness! SERIOUSLY CUTE!!! Ok, I'll stop gushing now. ;o) The fawn is cut at 3 inches and the face is stamped with the Critter Faces Medium Set. I did some strategic layering of my own to get the brown feet and nose. I cut the base layer twice. Once in the cream and once in dark brown. Then I cut the bottom half of the brown body to get the feet. And then I just freehand cut the nose. Enough talk of paper fawn butchery. LOL
The flowers are cut from the same button as the fawn at 2.25 inches. The clouds are hand cut. The sentiment stamp is from cleardollarstamps.com. I hope you're having a wonderful day!

You're are all very DEER to me!

You Rock Card

Hey my peeps! This card was a custom order from my Etsy shop. The client wanted a "you rock" card for a friend that got a promotion in a skincare company. So I took my cue from the colors and packaging of their products. The doll is from Once Upon A Princess and is cut at 3.5 inches. The "You Rock" sentiment is from the Stamping cartridge and is cut at 1 inch. Here are some more views of the card.........

I did a little somethin' to the inside...

All the papers used here are from the Offbeat Collection by Basic Grey. I hope you're having a WONDERFUL day!!!!! I'm off to the post office. ;o)

Ahoy! Happy Birthday Mason...and ME! ;o)

Hello! This is the card I made for my little birthday buddy Mason. He is 5 today, sadly I am not! LOL Yep, today is my big 30! SIGH...I was late in getting this in the mail, so I wanted to post it so he could see it on his actual birthday! He had a pirate party, so this lil guy was just perfect! The Octo-pirate is from Create-a-Critter and is cut at 3 inches.
The "ahoy" is on the same key at the octo, but is cut at 1 inch. So I hope you're having a great 5th birthday buddy! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Have a great day everyone!

A little Birdie told me...Bird-day Card

Happy National Scrapbooking Day friends!!! I finally finished My Pink Stamper's Challenge #2 which was to use scraps. Buy the way, she is now on 7, I'm a tad slow. LOL Anyhoo, I used my gypsy to design this to make the most of some tiny scraps of PTI cardstock. The sweet little birdie is from the Create-a-Critter cartridge and her cute flower has a glittered brad center. The branch is from the Songbird cartridge which I cut twice in brown and in green so I could hand cut the leaves. I used a punch for the flowers on the branch.
I love the sentiment I came up with for the inside! ;o)
Well I hope you're having a wonderful NSD!!! I know I am! I hope to "see" you over at the AboveRubiesStudio live Ustream chat at 8ET tonight!

Scrappy Hugs!

p.s. I did put this in my new Etsy shop. ;o)

Just Married *Congrats* Card

Happy Sunday! My friend Teresa asked me to make her a wedding congrats card, and this is what I came up with. I used Sweethearts for the car cut. I tried to cut out the just married license plate, but it cut so tiny I gave up and just wrote it in myself. ;o) Just a pretty simple card, but I think this car cut is so cute it would be a shame to distract very much from it.

Have a great night....DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES IS NEW ;o)
ooooooooooh and NEW BREAKING BAD TOO! Good TV night!

Hugs,
Nikki

p.s. I hope YOU like it Teresa! ;o)
