Throwback Thursday

Hello! Welcome to another Throwback Thursday with MyCreativeTime. For this challenge, use any "older" cartridge and make a project of your choice. I used the fabulous Script Type Backgrounds on my card. I stamped the background and inked it up with distress ink in tumbled glass.
I cut that simple butterfly from the April Showers cricut cartridge and stamped it also with the Script Type Background. I inked it up with shabby shutters distress ink and then sprinkled a little water on while the ink was still wet to get a splotchy look. Then I heat set it and spritzed with perfect pearls and water in a mini mister to add some shine. To finish this little butterfly off I wrapped some black embroidery thread around it. OH and the cute little "hi" is from the Teeny Tag Greetings set.

Ok, pop over to Emma's Blog to see the awesomeness she created...and the awesomeness that the rest of the DT created ;)...........AND to play along in the challenge! :)

It's so simple, but I love the color combination! The background script stamp added so much "texture"! Thanks for the tip about using a little water!
