To a true cheesehead!

Hello! Kathy, the PeachyKeenStamps genius, has gotten so many requests for all her Green Bay Packers stamps that she brought them back! So I colored up this cutie from the Colby And Jack Cheeseheads set with my copics. I kept everything else simple, so this cheesy dude could shine. The greeting is also from the Colby And Jack Cheeseheads set...I did a little stamp surgery to get the greeting I wanted. :)

I hope you're having a great day!

p.s. I am a BEARS fan, but this dude is so sweet! :)

You are simply amazing.

Hello! I'm loving Sandy Allnock's fabulous FREE class called Go For The Gold. Today I'm playing along by doing gold heat embossing. I used the outline images from the Pretty Peonies set by Wplus9 to stamp the flowers. I did a lot of masking. I did some loose/artsy watercoloring with distress inks. I stamped and heat embossed the greeting from the Quite Like You set by Wplus9 on vellum. To finish, I added Antique Linen distress stickles to the flower centers...it's looks like little gold flakes in real life! :)

I hope your week is off to a great start. :)

Hello gorgeous

Hello! The fabulous Sandy Allnock is doing a week long FREE class on her blog called Go For The Gold. Yesterday she made a fab card using gold embossing creme...so I busted out the gold embossing paste that I've had FOREVER and have never used. LOL. I used a triangle stencil to make the background. The circle is from the Bunch of Fun Circles Dies by MyCreativeTime. I used the Hand Lettered Hello Die and the Hand Lettered Hello stamp set for the greeting...both from Wplus9

I hope you're having a lovely evening.

A watercolored hello

Hello! I have really been loving watercoloring since the latest Watercolor For Card Makers class at OnlineCardClasses! Dawn {the Wplus9 watercoloring genius} is such an inspiration! :) Anyhoo,  I did lots of masking with the Flora And Fauna 2 set by Wplus9. Then I watercolored with distress inks. I cut out around the top of the butterfly and top of the flowers... and popped that whole bit up on foam tape. So, basically, the stamped area is all one piece and popped up. :)  The greeting is from the Hand Lettered Hello set by Wplus9

I hope you've had a wonderful weekend!

Warm wishes...

Hello! I really enjoyed this Watercolor For Card Makers class at OnlineCardClasses. It was short, but super informative. :) Today I gave no line coloring a go. I used the flowers from the Hey There Little Lady set by MyCreativeTime. I painted with distress inks and water. The greeting is from the Polynesian Paradise set from MyFavoriteThings

I hope you're having a great night! I'm super stoked that my fave band/obsession PEARL JAM is going to be on the Colbert show tonight! YAAAAAYYYYYYYY  :)

Just Because

Hiya! Here's my card inspired by day 2 of Watercolor For Card Makers at OnlineCardClasses. I made a background with seedless preserves and picked raspberry distress inks and water. Lots of water. :) I used the same inks to sponge over a stencil on the card base. I used the Believe In Your Dreams set by MyCreativeTime for the feather and the greeting. I finished it off with some sequins.

I hope you're having a great week so far. :)

sending a little happy

Hello! Here's the card I made inspired by day 1 of the Watercolor For Card Makers class at OnlineCardClasses. I made a background using the plumeria cluster from the Polynesian Paradise set by MyFavoriteThings. I stamped it over and over and white heat embossed it. Then I watercolored with distress markers. I cut a circle from vellum using the Bunch Of Fun Circle Dies by MyCreativeTime. I embossed it with a folder.  I used the Happy Trio Dies by MyFavoriteThings. And for the greeting, I white heat embossed "sending a little" from the Sending Sunshine set by Wplus9. I finished it off by adding glossy accents and sequins.

Thank you for the hospitality

Helllllooooooooooo! I'm baaaaccckkk! We have made it safely to our new home...well, with a not so fun event along the way. We had to travel from San Diego to Jacksonville, and along the way we were stopped at a hotel in Texas. While we were sleeping, someone busted out the back window of our van and stole a tv we had with us. UGH. So, we ended up being stuck there for a day and a half getting that all worked out. Anyhoo, we have been in the new house a week today. I took a break from house stuff to CREATE today. :) I had this idea in my noggin, and I wanted to get it out and make a card for the Card Design Superstar contest at MyFavoriteThings. I used the Polynesian Paradise set by MyFavoriteThings for the pineapple and greeting. I stamped the pineapple with a rainbow of distress inks, and then painted them in with water...and then added splatters of the same color per row. I white heat embossed the greeting, and added a little vellum behind it. To finish, I added a few sequins. :)

I hope you are having a wonderful week! I missed you! ;)
