Lucky!

Hello! I spent the morning playing with the February 2012 stamp set and the Peachy Picks Kit both from PeachyKeenStamps. The Peachy Picks kit this month is super awesome! Don't you just love those sweet canvas banners?! I stamped on them with stamps from the February 2012 set...What a neat texture!
I tied on the banners with the awesome blue twine that also comes in the Peachy Picks Kit. I don't believe I've ever seen colored twine...LOVE ♥! The pretty patterned papers are also from the Peachy Picks Kit. The paper pad in the kit is the Times and Seasons collection from Echo Park. PRETTY!

Hope your day is just peachy! ;)

Shamrock Card

Hello! I hope you're having a fabulous day thus far. :) For my card today I started by stamping my background with the awesome new Lucky Day Shamrock background stamp from PeachyKeenStamps. I stamped it with Tim Holtz embossing ink and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder. I used distress inks in Shabby Shutters and Peeled Paint to add the color.....I stamped the adorable shamrock's from the February 2012 set from PeachyKeenStamps on white cardstock 4 times. Two of them I cut around to make the outline white part. The other two I rough colored with my foam blending tool and distress inks in Shabby Shutters and Peeled Paint. This is a SUPER FAST way of coloring, and you can control the blending too. After the rough color just cut right on the stamped line and paper piece onto the outline part. Voila! ;)
The adorable faces on the shamrock's are also from the February 2012 set from PeachyKeenStamps. CUTE! I added a little glossy accents to make their eyes sparkle. OH and they are both on wobbles so they wiggle! I LOVE wobbles....they make a good card GREAT!

Happy St.Patrick's Day

Hello! For my card today I used the awesome new February 2012 set from PeachyKeenStamps and also used the adorable new Kiss Me Leprechaun set. I stamped the barrel, feet, and arms from the February 2012  set. I stamped them each a few times so I could paper piece them. I stamped and cut out the head from the Kiss Me Leprechaun set. I also paper pieced that a little. :) I wanted to make it look like the little guy got stuck in the barrel. {actually I thought of Alice in Wonderland in the house when she drinks the bigger potion...make sense? }
The sentiment is also from the February 2012 set. I stamped in onto the Real Estate Sign Punch and white heat embossed it.  The patterned papers are from the new Peachy Picks Kit
I just LOVE LOVE LOVE how awesomely the kits match back to the Stamp of the Month! ♥

Okie dokie! I hope you're have a great weekend!

3-D Wednesday

Hello! Welcome to another 3-D Wednesday with MyCreativeTime. Today I have a super duper simple project. I used Emma's brand new die called the Bubblegum Treat Box Die. The paper I used is from the Blast Off collection from Bo Bunny and it goes just perfectly with the sentiment and little rocket ship stamps! I stamped the sentiment and rocket ship from the Classmates Valentines set onto the circle from the Scallop and Stitched Circle Die

Ok...pop over to Emma's Blog to see what she and the rest of the DT have made!

Feliz Cumpleanos Angelica!!! Blog Hop :)

Feliz Cumpleanos/Happy Birthday Angelica!!! I hope you're enjoying your surprise birthday hop! :) You should have just arrived from the fabulous Samantha's blog...if not, start at the beginning HERE. If you don't know, Angelica is the daughter of Kathy Jakopovich, the genius behind PeachyKeenStamps. She is a FABULOUS design team coordinator for us, and I just adore her. LUV YOU ANGELICA! ;) Aside from that, she is an amazing artist in her own right! She is the brains behind {and owner} of the fantastic MarketStreetStamps. So for her card, I got inky with two of her fabulous background stamps!
For the background and the red strip I used the Punched Tin background stamp. Perty, huh?! I used only 2 distress inks on this card...my favorites Broken China and Festive Berries. For the butterflies I used my new all time favorite background ever...Sweet Lace. LOVE IT! And to finish this off I added the sentiment from the Wow So Many Candles set from MyCreativeTime.

Angelica, I hope you're have a GREAT BIRTHDAY!!!

♥ Nikki ♥

I love you.....Scroll Down for MCT Blog Hop

Hello! Nikki here with a sweet little penguin card. I started by cutting the Winter Character With Stocking Hat die. Onto that I stamped the Penguin Girl. I then stamped the Penguin Girl a few more times onto kraft cardstock and on patterned paper from the awesome Peachy Picks Kit. I then paper pieced this little cutie together.  See, just because the "holiday" season is over doesn't mean you can't still use the adorable stamps that came out during that time...switch up your patterned papers and colors and BAM you've got a sweet Valentine's Day card. :)
Here you can see the sparkle I added to the ice and hat by using my favorite Ice Crystal Glitter Paint. This stuff is AWESOME! It's clear and sparkles just like stardust stickles BUT it's great because you can use a brush and get complete control with it. LOVE THAT! The sentiment is from the Cupid's Sting set.

Have a PeachyKeen day!
♥ Nikki ♥

p.s. No need to adjust your monitors, yes, that is a kraft penguin. My love for kraft knows no bounds. ;)

My favorite stamp of the month

Hello! "My favorite stamp of the month" is a new feature Emma and the design team will be doing every other Thursday. For this one we are featuring You Had Me At Chocolate. This was Emma's very first stamp set and I just love it! :) Ok, onto my card...I made this in about 15 minutes! Somehow the idea popped into my head and I ran with it. ;) I inked up the text portion with festive berries and fired brick distress inks. I then added lots of shine by misting with perfect pearls and water...
See all that shine? It's really pretty in real life. Pictures just can't do it justice. ;) I white heat embossed the sentiment from You Had Me At Chocolate from MyCreativeTime. The patterned papers are from the pretty Yours Truly collection by Echo Park. OH, I just hand cut that heart....no cricut ;)

If you own this stamp set, we would LOVE to see ANY projects you have made OR any NEW projects using this stamp set! My Creative Time is having a "You Had Me At Chocolate" Link party! 3-D Wednesday

Hello! Today is 3-D Wednesday at MyCreativeTime. Emma asked us to create a 3-D project and include some "texture". So I decided to make some little critters using her Stitched Lollipop Holder Die. For this first one I cut the felt scallop and the circle with the Scallop and Stitched Circle Die. The face is from the Winter Wonderland Assortment from PeachyKeenStamps. The sentiment is from Wow So Many Candles.
For this one I again cut the felt scallop and circle using the Scallop and Stitched Circle Die. His cute lion face is from the Animal Faces Medium set from PeachyKeenStamps. The sentiment is from Wow So Many Candles  set. I think these would be super cute for a kids party!

Happy Heart Day

Hiya! Here is a card I made super quickly this afternoon. I don't usually do such "clean and simple" cards, but I just love the way this one turned out! I used the heart die that comes in the 100% Sweetness set from MyCreativeTime to cut out the center portion of the text piece. I inked it up with Victorian Velvet distress ink and misted with perfect pearls and water in a mini mister.
I put a piece of patterned paper from the Yours Truly collection by Echo Park behind the heart cut out. I white heat embossed the gorgeous sentiment from the 100% Sweetness set from MyCreativeTime

psst...there just might be a sneak going on here ;)

you're such a sweetie!

Hello! Happy Sunday to you. :) Today I played with some MarketStreetStamps. I used the Sweet Lace background stamp for my patterned paper. Isn't it gorgeous?! I colored the bird from the Follow Your Heart set with distress inks in Festive Berries, Fired Brick, and just a little Aged Mahogany. This is a super quick way to add color using the foam blending tool, and then cutting your image out and paper piecing it to another stamped image.
Here you can see the sparkle of the perfect pearls and water I misted on the bird. {looks cool in person} The sentiment is also from the Follow Your Heart set from MarketStreetStamps

I hope you have had a wonderful weekend! I am stoked for the new season of Shameless tonight!!!! I just LOVE that show!!!

Happy Valentine's Day

Hiya! I just cannot stop playing with the NEW PeachyKeenStamps goodies! I colored up Cupid's Sting again with spica glitter markers. He is just SO CUTE!!! The sentiment is also from Cupid's Sting.  See that heart...I was working on a background with the new XOXOXO background stamp, but I messed up...didn't want to waste the "good" bit...so I inked it up and cut out a heart. :)
Here you can see the sparkle of the spica glitter markers and the ice crystal glitter paint I used for the cloud and his wings. The pretty papers are from the Yours Truly 6x6 pad by Echo Park. Really pretty papers in this collection!

I hope you're having a peachy weekend! :)

This is gonna sting a little!

EEK! Two posts in one day...I just can't stop playing with NEW PeachyKeen awesomeness! :) This stamp is so cute I swear it almost hurts to look at it! HA. He is called Cupid's Sting and I sure wouldn't mind catching an arrow from him! I made this using the papers and embellies from the new Peachy Picks Kit. I colored up Cupid with Spica glitter markers...you can see the sparkle here...
See it sparkle? ;) I painted the wings and clouds with ice crystal glitter paint. LOVE that stuff! See the shine on the hearts? Those are acrylic hearts that come in the Peachy Picks Kit. Super easy to customize with cute patterned paper. {just a few tiny dabs of glossy accents to adhere paper to acrylic} The kraft die cut tag is also from the Peachy Picks Kit. I put a piece of patterned paper behind the die cut word, and filled it in with glossy accents for some shine. I also embossed the tag with a sizzix folder. {don't remember what it's called, from Valentine's last year.} And finally, how CUTE is that sentiment???? LOVE IT! It's also from the Cupid's Sting stamp.

Ok, scroll down to see another card and to get all the deets on the NEW Stamp Kit of the Month Club!

HAPPY WEEKEND!!
♥ Nikki ♥

p.s. the white pleated trim is also from the Peachy Picks Kit

You asked for it...............

Ask and ye shall receive...PeachyKeenStamps heard you loud and clear....drumroll...there is now a Stamp Kit of the Month Club!!! WHOO HOO!!! This sweet angel girl is just one of the ADORABLE images from the January 2012 stamp set. For full details on the awesome new stamp of the month club go HERE

Ok, back to my card....the patterned paper I used to paper piece her is also a new and exciting addition to the PeachyKeenStamps store! The paper is from the new Peachy Picks kit. Each month the Peachy Picks kit will coordinate back just perfectly with the Stamp Kit of the Month Club. SO EXCITING!!! :)
I kept this card very simple because she is just so darn cute! ;) OH, I used my sakura glitter pen for the halo...and my FAVORITE ice crystal glitter paint to glam up her wings. {looks like stardust stickles}

The new Stamp Kit of the Month Club and Peachy Picks are NOT the only new things in the PeachyKeenStamps store!!! Pop over and get your peachy shop on! ;)

Throwback Thursday

Hello! Sorry this is getting posted late, blogger was being a meanie to me. Anyhoo, welcome to the first Throwback Thursday of 2012! For my first card here I used the basketball from the Slam Dunk set to create my patterned paper. I also cut one out for the little boy to hold. I used distress inks in ripe persimmon and a little bit of rusty hinge. The little boy is from Everyday Paper Dolls.
The # 1 on his jersey is from the Sports Sentiments set. His face is from the Wide Eyed Kids asst from PeachyKeenStamps. And just for fun I gave him "real" shoelaces. ;)
For this card I used the Black Belt set to stamp the yin yang background paper.  Super easy!

The big yin yang is from the Pagoda cartridge. I put it on a wobble so it wiggles. :) Scoot on over to Emma's blog to see her and the rest of the dt's awesome creations...AND to play along!

EEK! I guess I should tell ya what the theme is! LOL....it's sports themed

Thank You

Hiya! Today's card was totally inspired by my Apple Cinnamon Cheerios box! :) See, inspiration lurks around every corner... or in this case, on top of the fridge! hehe I used Shabby Shutters, Peeled Paint, and Evergreen Bough distress inks to create the background. I misted it with perfect pearls in a mini mister AND  splattered with that mixture too. I just unscrew the pump portion and flick it at the paper. I stamped the cute apple from the Faceless Fruit stamp set from PeachyKeenStamps. I colored it super quickly with my ink blending tool and distress inks in Festive Berries and Fired Brick. I used the same greens as the background for the leaf. OH I paper pieced the colored bits. :)
Here you can see the shine of the perfect pearls a little better. I white heat embossed the sentiment from the  So Grateful For You set from MyCreativeTime

ALSO I wanted to say how excited I am to be staying on the PeachyKeenStamps design team! I look so forward to getting to know all the new dt members! :) Pop over HERE to meet the new team!

Have a GREAT day!
