MCT Sneaks Day One

Hello! It's day one of sneaks for MyCreativeTime! Today we're sneaking the new Large Scallop Stitched Rosette Die. I obviously used it in another way than it's intended use. Yay for stretching your supplies! :) I used the Big Hello Die for the greeting. I also used the Stitched Rectangular Frames and More Dies and the Bunch Of Fun Circles Dies.

MCT Sneaks Day 4

It's day 4 of sneaks, and today we're showing off the new Paint The Town set. I used the paintbrush in the set for my card. I watercolored them with distress inks. I then used the same colors to make the drips. The greeting is also in the new Paint The Town set.

MCT 52nd Edition Release Blog Hop!

Rainbowy goodness. :) I used the incredibly fabulous new Pretty Bold Letter Dies to make the word LOVE. I gold foiled them by using a Zig 2 way glue pen and Deco Foil. Easy peasy. I also used the Stitched Postage Frames dies which I basically can't make a card without these days. :)

Baby I love you

Hello! It's Favorite Die Of The Month day at MyCreativeTime! This month it's the Baby Word Die. I used the heart dies in the Carved Heart set to create these inlaid hearts. I rainbow inked them. I also used the Stitched Rectangular Frames And More Dies for the panel. The "I love you" is from the Chocolate Greetings set. I finished it off with a few sequins.

Merry Christmas

Hello! I was SUPER INSPIRED by the fantabulous Kelly Latevola's card in the Holiday Style class at OnlineCardClasses yesterday. She used greens for her card, but I decided to rainbowify it! Yay, RAINBOW! :) I used the Family And Friends set by Hero Arts for my trees. I used a rainbow of distress inks as well. I used the Stitched Rectangular Frames And More Dies by MyCreativeTime for middle layer...and the greeting is from the Holiday Tags Stamp And Die set by MyCreativeTime.

Warmest winter wishes

Hello! Happy Friday! Today's Holiday Style class at OnlineCardClasses is all about the cute factor...and it just doesn't get any cuter than PeachyKeenStamps! I used the Faceless Penguins stamp with a face from the Happy Penguin Couples Face Assortment set. However, the Faceless Penguins stamp is no longer available...BUT you can still get it in SVG form HERE and give her/him a face with the Happy Penguin Couples Face Assortment set. Score! :) Anyhoo, I colored her with my Copics. I just love her rainbow hat! :) The greeting is from the Winter Cheer set by MyCreativeTime. To finish it off, I added glossy accents to her eyes, beak, and feet...and gave the snow a good dose of wink of stella.

Hello...half b/w half rainbow

'Ello! The fabulous Sandy Allnock has been on Periscope live all day doing a fantastic watercolor painting of a Mama and baby zebra...that has had water spilled on them and turned the puddle rainbow colored. It's flippin' genius. GENIUS I say! So, I was incredibly inspired and made this card.  I used the Birds Of Paradise set by MyFavoriteThings. I wanted my card to be very graphic, so I masked and stamped them they way I wanted them. Then I penciled in 2 lines to tell me where to do the colored bit. I colored them all with my Copics. The greeting is from the You Gnome Me set by MyFavoriteThings.

Thank you for the hospitality

Helllllooooooooooo! I'm baaaaccckkk! We have made it safely to our new home...well, with a not so fun event along the way. We had to travel from San Diego to Jacksonville, and along the way we were stopped at a hotel in Texas. While we were sleeping, someone busted out the back window of our van and stole a tv we had with us. UGH. So, we ended up being stuck there for a day and a half getting that all worked out. Anyhoo, we have been in the new house a week today. I took a break from house stuff to CREATE today. :) I had this idea in my noggin, and I wanted to get it out and make a card for the Card Design Superstar contest at MyFavoriteThings. I used the Polynesian Paradise set by MyFavoriteThings for the pineapple and greeting. I stamped the pineapple with a rainbow of distress inks, and then painted them in with water...and then added splatters of the same color per row. I white heat embossed the greeting, and added a little vellum behind it. To finish, I added a few sequins. :)

MCT Inspiration Wednesday

Hello! It's Inspiration Wednesday at MyCreativeTime. For my cards today I was inspired by THIS tutorial that I got in an email. I've wanted to try a "bokeh" card for a long time. I don't have white pigment ink, so I used white acrylic paint instead. For this first card I used picked raspberry, ripe persimmons, and squeezed lemonade distress inks. I wanted my bokeh to be bright! :) I used the Bunch Of Fun Circles Dies for the bokeh dots and for my greeting circles. I used the Fun Lowercase Dies for the greetings on both cards. And the "2" is from the Number Fun Dies. And after I made this card, I had to try a rainbow version! :)

Yay! RAINBOW! :) For this one I used distress reinkers. I used worn lipstick, dried marigold, squeezed lemonade, shabby shutters, tumbled glass, and shaded lilac. Again, I used the Bunch of Fun Circles dies for my bokeh dots stencils. :) OH, and I used the Stitched Rectangular Frames And More Dies for the card panels. This was super fun...and messy. ;)

Made In Minutes Monday- "You are Awesome"

Hello! It's Made In Minutes Monday at MyCreativeTime. Today we make projects that are easy/quick. For my card, I used the solid image stamp from the Love To Learn set. I stamped it in pale tomato, orange soda, butter bar, green hills, tide pool, and passion flower Hero Arts shadow inks. 

I stamped the greeting from the You Are Fabulous set in Ranger archival jet black ink. To finish, I added a few gems. :)

Thinking Of You

Hello! The new challenge at Little Tangles is masking. Yay! I ♥ masking! :) I took a photo of my masking in progress...

Ahhh yummy rainbow colors. ;) I used the cloud image from the Just Thinking Of You set by Neat and Tangled to create masks to make my rainbow sky. Then I sponged on my rainbow of color. Before removing the masks I spritzed it with perfect pearls and water in a mini mister for some shine. I spritzed from high above for a subtle look. 

I stamped the clouds from the Just Thinking Of You set with soft granite shadow ink in the areas I masked off. I really love how this looks! :)

The greeting is also from the Just Thinking Of You set by Neat And Tangled. I finished it off with my favorite Crystal Clear sequins from Neat And Tangled.

Happy Birthday Rainbow Funness ;)

Hello! I'm playing along in the Hero Arts Blog Birthday Card Challenge. One of the categories is to make a birthday card with rainbow colors...so I of course picked that one. :) I white heat embossed the Hexagon Background by Hero Arts. Then I used the new seasonal Distress Markers to color it in. When I was finished coloring I spritzed it with a mixture of perfect pearls and water in a mini mister. Then I used an exacto knife to cut out some hexagons to turn into shaker windows. :) Then I filled the shakers with a rainbow of sequins. 

For the greeting strip I used the same colors and brushed over it with the perfect pearls mixture. I made sure it was super dry and white heat embossed the greeting from the Year Round Sentiments by Hero Arts. That's it...I hope your eyes are ok. ;)

Tag It Tuesday

Hello! It's Tag It Tuesday at MyCreativeTime. Today I put my tag on a card. :) I started this card by making my striped background with 1/4 inch strips of cardstock. I wanted a rainbow to match the little camera shaker I made. I cut the Stitched Camera Die with a rainbow of cardstocks, and also in white and black. I wanted to be able to see the rainbow from the side of the camera. As you can see here...

Pretty cool lookin', huh?! :) I used my sakura glitter pen to make the viewfinder and flash holes shiny and sparkly as well. 

I stamped the "Smile" greeting from the Things I Love set by MyCreativeTime...and under that I stamped the "it's your day" from the Teeny Tags Holiday set by MyCreativeTime...on the Tag Dies from MyCreativeTime.
