MCT Sneaks Day Two

Hello! Today we're sneaking the new Scalloped Oval Dies. I used them to create the shaker window, and the little frame around the window. I cut them into a panel made with the Stitched Rectangular Frames And More Dies. I used the Sea You Soon set for the turtle, ocean scene, and the greeting. I colored everything with my Copics.

Altered Lawn Fawn Claw Machines :)

Hello! I have 2 cards to share that I made using the new You're Clawsome set by Lawn Fawn. I altered it my doing lots of masking to create a claw machine filled with sea critters instead of bears. I was making 2 shakers, but I messed up on one so that became just a regular one. {below} Anyhoo, I colored everything with my copics. I used an exacto to cut out and make the shaker. I super love how it turned out! Like SUPER LOVE. :) 

And I'm kinda glad I messed up on making a 2nd shaker because I love how this turned out, too. :) I colored everything with my Copics. I made the floor with the chisel end of one copic. Easy peasy. I ink blended and used a stencil for the wallpaper. For this one I cut a slit in the prize slot and slid the starfish in it.

MCT Inspire Me Wednesday

Hello! It's Inspire Me Wednesday at MyCreativeTime! My card today was "inspired" by my need for graduation cards. HA! I used the Grad Night set for the little diploma to stamp the background. I also used the Grad Night set for the graduation hat and the greeting. I used the Pretty Bold Number Dies for the year. I also used the Stitched Rectangular Frames and More Dies, Stitched Vintage Labels, and Sentiment Labels dies. I made it a shaker and filled the number area with sequins, glitter, and stars.

SUPER EXCITING PEACHY KEEN NEWS!

Hello! Amazing news from PeachyKeenStamps! The Stamp Club is coming back! YAY! Real actual physical stamps! Yaaaaaaaaaay! Oh how I've missed that divine Peachy polymer! {it really is the best in the industry!} This first set is beyond cute! I mean COME ON?! Look at the little kitty and scratching post! EEK! I colored the kitty, yarn, and floor with my Copics. I ink blended and used a stencil on the wall. This set isn't just kitties....

Check out this adorable mouse! His cheese has a candle in it. I die. I made this one to look like it's a photo in the phone. I also made it a shaker. :) I colored everything with my Copics. And because I am a 100% kitty addict...here's another kitty card.... {are you freaking out at the cuteness?}

Ack! I just adore these kitties! For this card I used distress inks and water to make a loosey goosey plaid background. I colored the scene, kitty, and yarn with Copics. 

OK, If you're not sufficiently enabled...you must have crafty willpower of steel! HA!

For my card I used the new Sea You Soon set for the images and greeting, and the Scalloped Stitched Square Dies for the shaker window. I colored the images with my Copics. I ink blended the background with SimonSaysStamp and Hero Arts Inks. I wanted to get the same look of bleached out spots you get with distress ink and water, so I used Copic Colorless Blender refill to flick on spots with a paintbrush. It worked just how I wanted. MCT Trending Now "Animals"

Hello! It's "Trending Now" day at MyCreativeTime, and today's trend is animals. Today is also my birthday! Woot woot. :) Today's theme is perfect for me because I LOVE animals. I have a membership to the zoo, and I go all the time! We have 2 kinds of flamingo at my zoo, and they're both gorgeous. Anyhoo, I used the Already Missing You set for the flamingo. I stamped and paper pieced them. I used the Mom set to make the background in the shaker window. I used the Love You Bunches set for the greeting. I used the Stitched Rectangular Frames and More dies and the Stitched Oval Dies for the shaker panel.

MCT Made In Minutes- Mother's Day card

Hello! It's Made In Minutes day at MyCreativeTime. I made today's card by stamping and white heat embossing just the top of the daisy from the Love You Bunches set. {just ink up the flower portion with versamark}  I used my Gansai Tambi watercolors to very quickly paint them. I used the More Stitched Rectangle Dies set for my greeting and vellum backer. The greeting is from the Mom set. I finished off the design with a few sequins.

MCT Fave Stamp of the Month

Hello! It's Fave Stamp of the Month day at MyCreativeTime. This month we are showing off the oldie but goodie, Wow So Many Candles set. I used that set for the greeting. I used the Wishing You Both The Best set for the cake and candles. I colored it with my Copics. I added wink of stella and glossy accents to the flames and cake stand.

MCT Tag It Tuesday

Hello! It's Tag It Tuesday at MyCreativeTime. I stamped the flower cluster from the Mom set onto a panel I cut with the Stitched Rectangular Frames And More Dies. I then used the small tag die from the Holiday Tags Stamp And Die set to cut out a portion. Then I popped the tag up with foam tape. The greeting is from the Fun Notes set. I colored in the design on the word hugs. I finished it off with some sequins.

MCT Inspire Me Wednesday

Hello! It's Inspire Me Wednesday at MyCreativeTime. My card is inspired by one of my favorite songs by one of my favorite bands. The song is called "Ain't got the blues" by Blackberry Smoke. I LOVE THIS BAND SOOOO MUCH. I just got tickets to see them again in November, and a friend from back home in Chicagoland is flying down to Jacksonville...and then we are taking a mini road trip down to Orlando to see them! I made this card for her, and an extra to give away in the Blackberry Smoke Fan Group. :) YAY FOR MUSIC! But I digress, HA! I used the Pretty Bold Letter Dies for the shaker window word. I used the Stitched Trio Banner Dies and the Alpha Pack for the other lyrics. I heat embossed them with sparkle embossing powder by Wow.

NEW Peachy Faces :) And 3 cards!

Hello! All the NEW face assortments are now available at PeachyKeenStamps! We're talking serious cuteness here people! :) I made 2 of the same card, but used different faces on them. For each card I used the pepper from the Cactus Digi Stamps set. For this first card I gave him a face from the NEW Bucket List Emoji Assorment set. Isn't he funny?! :)

And this guy is just a tad grumpy. HA! This face is from the NEW Quick And Simple Emoji Assortment. I think he definitely needs a hug. ;) For both cards I used the Stitched Rectangular Frames And More Dies and Stitched Postage Frames Dies from MyCreativeTime. And here's one last card...

Can we talk about how cute that fishie is?! Eek! :) The fishie and the greeting are from the Beach Babies Digi set by PeachyKeenStamps. Her adorable face is from the NEW Bucket List Emojis Face Assortment. I also used the Stitched Rectangular Frames And More Dies, Stitched Circle Dies, and Vintage Labels Dies all from MyCreativeTime. I love her in her little ocean shaker. :)

MCT What A Treat Wednesday

Hello! It's What A Treat Wednesday at MyCreativeTime. My "treat" is a little mix of sequins to send to a fellow sequin loving buddy. :) I used the Stitched Square Dies to make the fold over topper part. I used the You Are My Sunshine set for the sun and cloud. And here is the back...

I used the Build A Sunray set for the greeting on the back. I'd say a pack of sequins will definitely bring some sunshine! :)

He liked it, so he put a ring on it

Hiya! Here's the engagement card I made for my friend Beth, who just got engaged! YAY! :) I finally used the Print Then Cut feature of my Cricut Explore machine. I cut the panel with the custom greeting on it using a font in my computer...and it was actually super easy. WOOT! Then my all time favorite part, gluing on the sequins. So therapeutic. :)

A Happy Hello

Hello! I am super loving the Watercolor For Cardmakers Intermediate Techniques class at OnlineCardClasses. Dawn {teacher} makes it all seem so doable. Anyhoo, I used the Pretty Peonies set from Wplus9 as a jumping off point for my flowers. I used the Hand Lettered Hello set by Wplus9 for the greeting. And I totally stole Kelly Latevola's awesome white outlining of sentiments thang. I think I'm probably hooked on that now. :)
