MCT Tag It - Watermelon Card

Hello! It's Tag It Tuesday at MyCreativeTime. I used the tag from the Holiday Tags set. I created the "watermelon" background paper after being inspired by Denise on Periscope as she made a treat bag from a kit. I blended Twisted Citron distress ink onto watercolor paper, and then used the Stripey Background and Mowed Lawn distress ink. I spritzed the stamp with water before stamping to get a loose impression. {I now know that stamp is retired. oops. But you could easily just paint stripes} :) I made the watermelon with circle dies. Colored it with distress inks. The face is from the You Make Life Sweet set. The greeting is from the Sweet Wishes set.

MCT Tag It Tuesday

Hello! It's Tag It Tuesday at MyCreativeTime. I stamped the flower cluster from the Mom set onto a panel I cut with the Stitched Rectangular Frames And More Dies. I then used the small tag die from the Holiday Tags Stamp And Die set to cut out a portion. Then I popped the tag up with foam tape. The greeting is from the Fun Notes set. I colored in the design on the word hugs. I finished it off with some sequins.

Merry Christmas

Hello! Here is a card I made with a specific, fellow yellow loving friend in mind. I used the Stitched Rectangular Frames And More Dies from MyCreativeTime. I used distress ink and water to make my bokeh backgrounds. I silver heat embossed the tree from the Family And Friends set by Hero Arts. The Merry Christmas die cuts are from the Holiday Tags set by MyCreativeTime. I should say that I used the round ink blenders and water to remove color to make the light spots. Easy peasy.

Day 3 of The 5 Days Of Christmas

Hello! It's day 3 of the 5 Days Of Christmas at MyCreativeTime. Today I made some shaker tags. I used the tag from the Holiday Tags Stamp And Die set. I also heat embossed the greetings and snowflakes from that same set. I used my WRMK Fuse Tool to make them into clear shaker tags. I finished them off with eyelets and twine. These are tags for gifts, but can be kept and used as ornaments! :)

Merry Christmas

Hello! I was SUPER INSPIRED by the fantabulous Kelly Latevola's card in the Holiday Style class at OnlineCardClasses yesterday. She used greens for her card, but I decided to rainbowify it! Yay, RAINBOW! :) I used the Family And Friends set by Hero Arts for my trees. I used a rainbow of distress inks as well. I used the Stitched Rectangular Frames And More Dies by MyCreativeTime for middle layer...and the greeting is from the Holiday Tags Stamp And Die set by MyCreativeTime.

Celebrate the season

Hello! It's day one of the new Holiday Style class at OnlineCardClasses. I was inspired by the clean and simple masked card Julie made. So I masked off the edges of my card, and used the Boughs Of Holly set by MyCreativeTime to make the little pine bough scene. I used 2 ink colors, and second generation stamping to get the depth of color. The greeting is from the new Holiday Tags Stamp And Die set also by MyCreativeTime. To finish it off, I drew around the masked area with a fine tip pen. I really liked how my design turned out, so I made the same card 2 other ways...

I used the same exact colors on this card, but it looks a lot different because it's stamped on white. Dig it. :) And then...I had to neon-ify this design...

Ahh, neon. How I love thee. Here I added some black stamping to give it a more graphic look. I think I may like this one the most. :) And because these are all one layer, no extra postage! Score!
