MCT Fave Die of the Month

Hello! It's Favorite Die of the month day at MyCreativeTime. This time we are featuring the Social Media Dies. I used the "hashtag" along with "HBD" from the Pretty Bold Letter Dies. I heat embossed flowers from the Just Because Set. I watercolored with traditional watercolors. To finish, I added wink of stella and glossy accents to the letters. :)

Baby I love you

Hello! It's Favorite Die Of The Month day at MyCreativeTime! This month it's the Baby Word Die. I used the heart dies in the Carved Heart set to create these inlaid hearts. I rainbow inked them. I also used the Stitched Rectangular Frames And More Dies for the panel. The "I love you" is from the Chocolate Greetings set. I finished it off with a few sequins.

MCT Made in Minutes

Hello! It's Made In Minutes Monday at MyCreativeTime. I used the Stitched Honey Comb dies to make this card. I cut it in a few colors so I could fill in the pattern to make a flower. :) Easy peasy! The greeting is from the Hello Chickie set. I masked off part of the greeting to get just this bit.

Heartfelt Thanks

Hello! I'm playing along in the My Favorite Things Color Challenge. I still don't have any MFT stuff, but it's still fun to play along. :) Here is my card...

I used the Stitched Rectangular Frames And More dies from MyCreativeTime for my card base and layer. I used the Stitched Sweethearts And XOXO Dies for my heart. I die cut it, and then did some masking to make it lined. I used Hero Arts Shadow Inks in Stone Wash, Lime Green, and Passion Flower. Pretty darn close to the challenge colors. :)

I used the Happy Thoughts set for my "thanks" die cut word, and for the "heartfelt" stamped greeting. I resisted the overwhelming urge to add sequins...this is for a guy. HA!

MCT Stamp of the Month

Hello! Today we are showcasing the Stamp of The Month at MyCreativeTime. The set is called Main Street. I started by blending mustard seed, spiced marmalade, picked raspberry, and seedless preserves distress inks to create my sky. Then I stamped the buildings from Main Street with Archival Jet Black ink. I did some masking to make a building taller...I added another couple stories. ;) And I filled in some areas with black marker. 

I used the Stitched Rectangular Frames And More Dies for my card base and layer. I used the "hi" die from the Stitched Message Bubble Dies. I cut it twice so I could inlay the white die cut. To finish it off, I added glossy accents.

MCT Made In Minutes

Hiya! It's Made in Minutes Monday at MyCreativeTime. For my card I started by gold heat embossing the Grainy Wood Background. I used Ranger Super Fine Detail Gold embossing powder. I cut a circle with the Bunch Of Fun Circles Dies. I die cut the deer from the Oh Deer set in the circle. I covered the deer with embossing ink and then used Wow Ultra High Gold Embossing powder on it. That embossing powder is awesome, and perfectly matches the super fine gold powder too! Score! I inlaid the deer back in the circle. 

You can see the dimension from that high embossing powder. It's really cool stuff! :) I gold heat embossed the greeting from the Winter Cheer set with the fine embossing powder.

Hello! I located a tiny bit of mojo today and made this card. :) I stamped and paper pieced the adorable flamingo from the April 2014 set by PeachyKeenStamps. All the papers I used on this card are from Lawn Fawn. I inlaid the clouds using the Stitched Cartoon Cloud Dies from MyCreativeTime. I made the sun using the Build A Banner set from MyCreativeTime. 

I used the Stitched Grass Die by MyCreativeTime. And that sentiment is from the Flamingo Phrases set by PeachyKeenStamps.
