I'm dreaming of a bright Christmas

Hello! I was inspired by May's card in today's Holiday Style class at OnlineCardClasses...but she made her shape by stamping lots of little stamps...I masked to create a neon plaid. :) I ♥ neon! :)

I hope you're having a bright and happy week!

Celebrate the season

Hello! It's day one of the new Holiday Style class at OnlineCardClasses. I was inspired by the clean and simple masked card Julie made. So I masked off the edges of my card, and used the Boughs Of Holly set by MyCreativeTime to make the little pine bough scene. I used 2 ink colors, and second generation stamping to get the depth of color. The greeting is from the new Holiday Tags Stamp And Die set also by MyCreativeTime. To finish it off, I drew around the masked area with a fine tip pen. I really liked how my design turned out, so I made the same card 2 other ways...

I used the same exact colors on this card, but it looks a lot different because it's stamped on white. Dig it. :) And then...I had to neon-ify this design...

Ahh, neon. How I love thee. Here I added some black stamping to give it a more graphic look. I think I may like this one the most. :) And because these are all one layer, no extra postage! Score!

I hope you're having a HAPPY day!

MCT Sneaks Day 1

Hello! It's day one of sneaks for MyCreativeTime. Today we are sneaking the new Friendships Are Forever set. This is a stamp and die set. I've used one of the dies to make a stencil for this first card. I neon inked through the stencil. I then used the heart from the Stitched Belly Band Dies to cut a heart from the panel cut with the Stitched Rectangular Frames And More Dies. And for the next card, I used the stencil from this card...

I used the Stitched Square Dies to cut the panel, and turned the stencil into a shaker. I also used a greeting from the new Friendships Are Forever set.

Pop over to MyCreativeTime to see more sneaks!

MCT Fave stamp of the month

Hello! It's time for another Favorite Stamp Of The Month from MyCreativeTime. This month the You're My Hero set is featured. I used it for my greeting on this super bright card. :) I used the Mosaic Stars Stencil from SimonSaysStamp. I blended on a rainbow of neon Hero Arts inks. Then I cut them out and glued them where I wanted. To finish, I added glossy accents to make them look like little tiles.

MCT Made In Minutes

Hiya! It's Made In Mintues Monday at MyCreativeTime! My card today is crazy simple and totally quick! I used the Bunch Of Fun Circles dies to make my shaker window. I gold heat embossed a greeting from the Chalkboard Birthday set by MyCreativeTime. I filled the shaker with some gold and neon pink sequins and called 'er done! Easy peasy lemon squeezy. :) Oh, the fun patterned papers are by American Crafts. I got the 6x6 paper pad at Hobby Lobby, but I can't find a name on it.

Making Spirits Bright

Hello! Yesterday was all about tags in the Holiday Card Workshop at OnlineCardClasses, and today was a "bonus" day. Today was about coloring. Well, I decided to go with super non-traditional colors again. I ♥ neon! For my card I started by stamping the triangles from the Geo Borders set from MyCreativeTime. I cut my tag with the Just Tags die set. The I cut the small deer with the die from the Oh Deer set. I popped it up on some cardstock that I inked up with Neon Pink Hero Arts ink.
I stamped the greeting from the A Day In December set on vellum and wrapped it around my tag. To finish, I added twine and sequins.

I hope you're having a BRIGHT and cheery day. :)

Merry and BRIGHT ;)

Hello! Yesterday was all about one layer cards in class at OnlineCardClasses. Here is my neon creation. :) For this first card I used a deer die from the Oh Deer set by MyCreativeTime to create a mask. I cut it from Post-It paper. I also used post it paper to mask off a rectangle for my focal point. then I masked off stripes and sponged on neon green and neon pink Hero Arts inks.
The greeting is from the Boughs Of Holly set from MyCreativeTime. And since I had the stuff out, I made another card. This one isn't one layer...
I used the positive deer mask from the other card on this one. I glued it down and covered it with glossy accents. I used the Grainy Wood Background and neon green ink for the card base.
The greeting is from an old Market Street Stamps set called Shine On. I added pink noses to both deer...with wink of stella and glossy accents. :)

I hope you have a HAPPY weekend!

If a zombie chases us...

Hello! Sooooo I was playing around in Cricut Craft Room and found that I had an image set called Zombies. I never bought it, so I guess it was free? Yay! So I cut this cool guy out at 4.75 inches. I gave him the perfect face from the Zombie Face Assortment by PeachyKeenStamps. Sorry that the color is so off in these pics. Guess my camera doesn't like neon? ;) I used neon green Hero Arts ink for the hair and grass...and neon purple for the pants. I added wink of stella to his hair.  I white heat embossed the spider from the August 2014 set by PeachyKeenStamps on his shirt.
I stamped the Cartoon Cloud Background by MyCreativeTime with soft granite Hero Arts shadow ink. I added glossy accents to the ax and his eyes. The greeting is from the Halloween Sentiments and Label set by PeachyKeenStamps...and continues on the inside...

I hope your week is off to a great start!

MCT Thrifty Thursday

Hi! It's Thrifty Thursday at MyCreativeTime. My card today uses the alternate background I made for THIS card. And sticking with the thrifty-ness...I also recycled my design from that card. {I just flipped it} On with the deets... I stamped the background with the grid from the Get Schooled set with soft granite shadow ink. I stamped over that with the stars from the Trick Or Treat set with neon orange Hero Arts ink. I used the same inks to stamp the chevrons with the Build A Chevy set and cut it out with the Bunch Of Fun Circles dies.
I made the sunglasses with the die from the What's Growing On set. I cut it out 5 times and glued them together. I made "glass" part by coloring the back of vellum with a black marker. It's looks cool in real life. The greeting is from the Treasured Moments set. I finished it off with sequins.

MCT Tag It Tuesday

Hello! It's Tag It Tuesday at MyCreativeTime. Today we have the above photo and color combo for inspiration. As usual, I've put my tag on a card. :) Here it is...
Bright enough for ya? :) I started by making my background. I made it by stamping the grid pattern from the Get Schooled set with soft granite shadow ink. I stamped over that with the trio of stars from the Trick Or Treat set using lime green shadow ink. I stamped "Ride it and Fly it" repeatedly with lime green and neon orange Hero Arts inks. I then used the Stitched Round Tab, Arrow, And Tag Die to cut it out.
I stamped the "if the broom fits" from the Trick Or Treat set with charcoal shadow ink. I used the circle from the Bunch Of Fun Circles Dies. The neon orange strip is a tag cut in half from the Tag Layers dies {inked with neon orange ink}. And the broom is from the Wicked Fun Dies. To finish it off, I added wink of stella to the broom...and of course, some sequins. :)

MCT Sneaks day 4

Hello! It's day 4 of sneaks for MyCreativeTime. Today we are sneaking 2 new sets. The Stitched Message Bubble Dies and the Fun Speech Bubbles. I used both sets on this card. The Stitched Message Bubble Dies for the word bubbles, and the Fun Speech Bubbles to back them. {They work together...I'm sure Emma will explain in her video} I used all the rainbow of Neon Hero Arts inks on this card. :) I rainbowed up the girl from the Stitched Restroom Peeps dies. :)
I covered the girl with my wink of stella glitter pen. To finish, I coated all my neon elements with glossy accents.

Pop over to MyCreativeTime to see more sneaks...but first...

Peachy Keen Release Party Challenges.

Hello! I hope this card didn't blind you. ;) Challenge #1 is to make a Christmas card using non traditional colors. I think neon counts as non traditional! HA! I used regular ol' highlighters to color these adorbs penguins from the new July 2013 set from PeachyKeenStamps. I ♥ them! The color on this kinda freaked my camera out, looks better in real life. promise!
That sweet greeting is also from the new July 2013 set from PeachyKeenStamps. Challenge #2 is to create a card with a vacation theme. Well I guess I was thinking summer...and that made me think of ice cream...Anyhoo, here's my card.
This ADORABLE double scoop of ice cream cone is from the new set called Yummies. I stamped them a bunch of time so I could paper piece with my current favorite... Vintage Bliss by Simple Stories. And those faces? Those gloriously cute faces??? They are from the new July 2013 set. I love the simplicity of them, makes them show up very well on busier patterned papers. Score!

Neon Sunshine Shaker Card

Hello! My card today was made for a sweet girl named Maddy. I saw her story HERE, and definitely wanted to send her a card...you can too! Details HERE. My goal was to make her a card that would make her smile, if even for just a moment. Here it is...
Bright enough?? :) I started by stamping the Here Comes The Sun background by MarketStreetStamps with Neon Pink Hero Arts Shadow Ink. I LOVE this background soooo much! It is still available HERE, but that's it! The yellow on this card??? I used a highlighter from the dollar store. YAY! :) The sweet face on the sun window is from the Sweet And Silly Face Assortment by PeachyKeenStamps
I filled the window with Neon and Crystal Clear sequins from Neat And Tangled. The greeting is from the Everyday Sayings set by Hero Arts. To make the greeting strip pop, I mounted it on some silver paper I made with Brushed Pewter distress stain.

I hope this makes Maddy smile, and I hope YOU have a great weekend!
