Thank you for the hospitality

Helllllooooooooooo! I'm baaaaccckkk! We have made it safely to our new home...well, with a not so fun event along the way. We had to travel from San Diego to Jacksonville, and along the way we were stopped at a hotel in Texas. While we were sleeping, someone busted out the back window of our van and stole a tv we had with us. UGH. So, we ended up being stuck there for a day and a half getting that all worked out. Anyhoo, we have been in the new house a week today. I took a break from house stuff to CREATE today. :) I had this idea in my noggin, and I wanted to get it out and make a card for the Card Design Superstar contest at MyFavoriteThings. I used the Polynesian Paradise set by MyFavoriteThings for the pineapple and greeting. I stamped the pineapple with a rainbow of distress inks, and then painted them in with water...and then added splatters of the same color per row. I white heat embossed the greeting, and added a little vellum behind it. To finish, I added a few sequins. :)

I hope you are having a wonderful week! I missed you! ;)

  6. Its absolutely fantastic, nothing beats rainbow pineapples!! And this is my favourite way of water colouring too. What a bummer about the tv, there's always someone around waiting for a chance to ruin things but I'm glad thats all that was taken.
