i like you just the way you are

Hi bloggy friends! :) For this card I used one of my all time favorite background stamps from MarketStreetStamps called Hearts a Plenty. The birds and the talk bubble and sentiment are from a set called Cheep Talk also from MarketStreetStamps. I wanted to keep it simple, so instead of coloring the image in, I used my Sakura Stardust glitter pen. It's really REALLY sparkly in person. :)

Hello!!! For this card I got my card base and layering circles from the Smiley Cards cricut cartridge. I stamped the Pretty Perfect Grid from MarketStreetStamps onto the yellow circle with charcoal colorbox fluid chalk ink. I stamped the sentiment and the sun from the Sure Miss You set also from MarketStreetStamps using that same ink. Just a quick and simple card today. :)

Life's too serious...

Hello and happy Sunday! When I got the new Faceless Corn stamp set from PeachyKeenStamps in the mail I put a post-it-note on it to use this sentiment with this candy corn girl from the Mini Monsters cartridge. :) I'm sure glad I did because I love how it turned out! 

Her sweet face is from the Wide Eyed Kids Assortment from PeachyKeenStamps. The patterned paper is from the Ghosts and Goblins mat stack by DCWV.

As soon as I saw this Stinkin' Cute sentiment I knew I had to use it! CUTE!!! I stamped it onto the Stitched Oval Die. It goes just perfectly with the adorable little skunk from the Skunk Cheer Up set from PeachyKeenStamps.com. I also used the Hearts a Plenty background stamp from MarketStreetStamps.com.

MCT Oct Stamp Release Sneak #3

Hello! Welcome to day 3 of sneak peeks! Today we are featuring the new set called XL Label Borders. These are all totally awesome and fit the fab XL Label Die. Here, I wanted to show how it can make a cute gift tag for your holiday gifts...BUT I also wanted to show other ways to use them :) 

Here I used the XL Label Borders, The XL Label Die, and the Polka Dot Surprise stamp set for the sentiment. I did one of my favorite techniques....a rainbow effect using distress inks in Barn Door, Spiced Marmalade, Mustard Seed, Shabby Shutters, Broken China, and Milled Lavender. 

I spritzed with perfect pearls and water in a mini mister to blend out the colors....Onto my last card

For this card I used the All Around Accessories set, XL Label Borders, AND the Build a Banner Kit.

I used the super cute Faceless Corn set. The faces on this set are so CUTE!!! I used my Tim Holtz ruler to punch the holes to sew with some twine around my image.

Happy Friday!!! I have had the Dave Matthews Band Pandora station BLARING all day while I was crafting away! FUN!!! For this card I used the awesome Circles Background stamp from PinkByDesign to make my background paper. I stamped it with Pumpkin Spice Colorbox Fluid Chalk ink. ♥

The sweet lil' characters are from the Guess Who set from PinkByDesign. PSSST...this set is on SALE right now ;)....The sentiment is also from that set.

Throwback Thursday

Hello and welcome to another Throwback Thursday! This time we are to use any older cartridge with a "card feature" on it and make a Halloween Themed project. For my super simple card I used the Wild Card cartridge. I used my gypsy to hide some contours to create a a layer. The sentiment is from the Mixed Holiday Sentiments set from MyCreativeTime. The face is from the Pumpkin Trio die from PeachyKeenStamps.com.

wishing you the best birthday ever!

Hello! Today is my Grandpa-in-law's birthday and this is the card I made for him. Every year I make him some sort of golf related card because he is a golf addict! For this card I FINALLY used my Car Decals cricut cartridge. I have had it FOREVER and have never used it because I couldn't link it to my gypsy. I still can't link it, but I gave up and used it the old fashioned way! ;) I used the Round Argyle stamp set from PinkByDesign to make his shirt, hat, and golf bag. I traced the inside of the cuts and did some strategic cutting to get the pieces to fit. THIS is whey it would be AWESOME if this darn cartridge would actually link up to my gypsy! Grrr. ;oP 

The sentiment is from the Wow So Many Candles set from MyCreativeTime. The face is from the Basic Paper Doll Face Assortment from PeachyKeenStamps.com. 

Ok, back to the MJ trial coverage! I'm hooked! hehehe

Hiya! Happy Monday! I finally used the Sophie Cricut Circle Cartridge today. :) This is my favorite of all the circle cartridges so far...SO PRETTY! This is just one of the card features on this cartridge. It is just two cuts...the kraft card base...and a white circle to go on the inside. I used a pencil and lightly traced around the design onto the white circle inside. I then used distress inks in shabby shutters, peeled paint, tumbled glass, and broken china to color in the image. 

After I colored it I misted it with perfect pearls in a mini mister to get this look. If you let the ink dry all the way you'll just get shine without the splotches...I like the look of the splotches. The sentiment is from the This and That set from MyCreativeTime.

I "woof" you!

Hello! For this card I used my favorite doggy on any of the cricut cartridges. She is from the Everyday Paper Dolls cartridge and I cut her out twice so I could pop up her front legs and ears for dimension. She is made adorable with the addition of a face from the Happy Go Lucky Dog Face Asst. from PeachyKeenStamps.com. Oh how I ♥ peachy faces!!! 

The super cute sentiment is from the Razzel set from Mr.CricutCrazy.

Hello and HAPPY FRIDAY!!!! I got my new PeachyKeenStamps in the mail yesterday and immediately had to play with them. :) I cut this cute monster out from the Mini Monsters cricut cartridge. I stamped the face from The Uglies 1 1/8 set from PeachyKeenStamps.com. 

I used my sakura glitter pen to give her sparkly eye shadow. ;) The sentiment is from The Uglies Assortment set from PeachyKeenStamps.com. I stamped it on the Stitched Oval Die from MyCreativeTime. I am in LOVE with these new faces!!!! SOOOOO cute, I mean ugly. hehehe

Mr.CricutCrazy Guest Design spot

Hiya! Tanner a.k.a MrCricutCrazy asked me to be a guest designer for him. :) For this first card I heat embossed the ghost from the Halloween Town set with white embossing powder. I then used distress inks in milled lavender, seedless preserves, and dusty concord to graduate the colors from light to dark. 

I then misted it with perfect pearls and water with the interference violet color of perfect pearls. I swear it is shimmery and cool in real life! The sentiment is also from the Halloween Town stamp set. 

For this card I also used the Halloween Town set from MrCricutCrazy. I stamped the Happy Halloween sentiment to make my background paper. I then inked it up with ripe persimmon distress ink and spritzed with copper perfect pearls and water in a mini mister. 

I actually "painted" the pumpkin with ripe persimmon distress ink mixed with some water and copper perfect pearls. Again, I swear it looks cool and shimmery in person. Ok pop over and take a look around Tanner's STORE to see the awesome goodies he has to offer. He doesn't only sell stamps ;)
