Our Punkins!!!

As promised, here are our pumpkins! I used the Pumpkin Carvings cricut cartridge to cut our stencils. I did the one on the left, and my scrubby did the vamp. I MADE him do a vamp because he was crackin' on me this morning for watching Twilight for the BILLIONTH time! HAHAAH!

Here's mine...You can see the holes I made around it with the POWER DRILL...HEHEHEHE!!!

Here is Scrubby's! With all his wise crackin', he forgot an eyebrow! LOL Still REALLY COOL though! So there are our pumpkins. I have the seeds soaking in a salt bath and I will roast them tomorrow. MMM... Then I'm thinking maybe seed treat bags for scrubby's co-workers...IF he will share! LOL

inching by just to say hi

Hiya peeps! So it's Halloween today, but tomorrow all the spooky fun will be over. :o(  For my Scrapping Cottage Blog post this week I thought it would be fun to turn a Halloween die into a very NON Halloweenie card! I used the Fuzzy Spider die to make my little inchworm!

CHEERS! Using my NEW Smiley Cards!!!

Hiya friends! I got the update in my gypsy yesterday and this is my first creation using Smiley Cards. I LOVE this cartridge..SO CUTE! But for my beer, I didn't want it to be cutesy...So I hid the face that would cut otherwise. I ran the beer "foam" through the cuttlebug in the divine swirls folder. I used tea dye and vintage photo Tim Holtz Distress inks to mess it up a bit.

I ran the "mug" part through the cuttlebug in the distressed stripes folder. After that I saturated the paper with dazzle versamark ink...I then did a few coats of UTEE {ultra thick embossing enamel} to make the "glass". The dazzle ink makes it look like a frosted mug! It really looks cool in person! The sentiment is from the Girls Just Wanna Have Fun set from PinkByDesign. Ok, that's my card! I'm off to cut our stencils for our pumpkins!

Hello! Here is my very first project as a member of Pink Cricut's design team! ☺I made a card with a matching envelope. I LOVE to do matching envelopes because the recipient knows right off the bat that it's a handmade card.  I used her ADORABLE sentiment from the Take The Cake set. I stamped it with versamark ink and used white embossing powder. I like to do it this way rather than using white ink because I have NEVER found a white ink that I like...As soon as I saw this sentiment I immediately thought of these cute suns from PeachyKeenStamps.com. Perfect match, huh?!!!! ☺

This is the Large Sun stamp. For the matching envelope I used the You Are My Sunshine set.

I just LOVE how this card turned out!!! So simple and cheery! ☺ Anyhoozle...I'm stoked to be on Sarah's team! THANKS SARAH!!!

A "feel better" card for Madison

Hi! Trish, a fellow blogger, posted a while ago about a little girl suffering with cancer. She wanted to spread the word, and get a bunch of people to make her cards. PeachyKeen Challenge 39

Hiya! It's challenge time again!!! This time the challenge is to "wrap it up". Create elements used in wrapping a gift using Peachy Keen Stamps. There are no limitations, only that PK Stamps are used in one of the main focal points of your project. Ideas for elements are: tags, gift wrap, gift card holders, and note cards. So I made two gift cards...two tags...and a treat bag!

For this first card I used the Snowman Winter Greeting Card set.

For this card I used the Chill Baby Chill Snowman Set.

And onto the tags........

For these I used the Snow Flakey set to stamp on the tags I cut out from the Heritage cricut cartridge. The to and from are from the Christmas Wishes set from PinkByDesign. And finally.........

I used the Faceless Veggies ONE set for my pepper...and Laughy Taffy for her super cute face! BTW I swear it looks better in person! Hehehe ANYHOO...that's all my projects for this challenge...I sure hope you will pop over to the Challenge Blog and play along with us!!!!

Peachy Keen Challenge 38

Hey everyone! In the excitement of my parental unit's visiting...I totally forgot to do my project!!! Ooops!!! BAD NIKKI *slaps hand*...Anyhoo, I finally finished and here it is....HERE'S THE CHALLENGE... Fall is in full swing, and using the month of October an inspiration, create a layout or project based on the season. The only catch is that it can't be a card!

*(This leaves your theme wide open to Autumn, Halloween, or Harvest Elements (note, since it's October, a Thanksgiving feast scene wouldn't really work for this challenge, but gourds, pumpkins, etc. would be appropriate!)*
