MCT Sneaks Day 4

Hello! It's day 4 of sneaks for MyCreativeTime. Today we are sneaking new sets called Tweet Me, Fun Tweet Me Dies, and Every Little Thing. I stamped the bird from Tweet Me and paper pieced her. I cut her out with the coordinating die from Fun Tweet Me Dies. I stamped the fabulous greeting from Every Little Thing with Stazon ink on vellum. I used the Bunch Of Fun Circles Dies to cut the circle in the panel.  Finally, I added 3 little hearts I cut with a die in the Fun Tweet Me Dies set.

Pop over to MyCreativeTime to see more sneaks!

MCT Sneaks Day 3

Hello! It's day 3 of sneaks for MyCreativeTime. Today we are sneaking the new Love You Bunches set, and the new Jr. Rolled Flowers Dies. For my first card I used the new Love You Bunches set. I hand cut a couple of masks of the flower so I could layer them while keeping it one layer. I white heat embossed them and watercolored with distress inks.
I stamped the greeting from the new Love You Bunches set it black. And for my next card, I've used the new Jr. Rolled Flowers Dies, but in a different way...
I used the negative space left behind by the Jr. Rolled Flowers Dies to make flowers. I used the Bunch Of Fun Circles Dies for the flower centers. I white heat embossed the greeting from the new Love You Bunches set on vellum and wrapped it around the flower panel. It's hard to tell, but I did pop up the flower panel with foam tape.

Sending A Little Happy Shaker

Hello! Today was day 2 of the Stretch Your Dies class at OnlineCardClasses. Today was all about flower dies. I didn't do any of the special techniques showed in class today. I just played with dies and had fun. :) I made a circle border shaker with the Bunch Of Fun Circles Dies from MyCreativeTime. I used the Stitched Pretty Flowers And Leaves Dies from MyCreativeTime as well. I used the Sending Sunshine set from Wplus9 for the "sending a little" greeting. And the happy is from the Happy Trio Dienamics from MyFavoriteThings. I did the same greeting yesterday...I kinda love it. :) OH...I did do something Jennifer McGuire did! I added little dots of glossy accents here and there. Pretty cool. :)

Sending a little happy your way.

Hello! Today is the first day of the Stretch Your Dies class at OnlineCardClasses. Here is my take on the technique the fabulous Jennifer McGuire showed. I used the Happy Trio Dienamics dies from MyFavoriteThings for my background and for the greeting. I used the biggest "happy" die cut for the greeting, and added glossy accents to it to make it pop. I used the Bunch Of Fun Circles Dies from MyCreativeTime for the circle. For the greeting, I used the Sending Sunshine set from Wplus9

I hope your week is off to a happy start.

MCT Sneaks Day 1

Hiya! It's day one of sneaks for the newest release from MyCreativeTime. Today we are sneaking a new die called Stitched Circle Pattern Die. This die is unique in that it doesn't cut, but leaves embossed stitching lines behind instead. I used the existing Stitched Button Dies to cut holes inside the stitched circles. I made lots of different "wells" behind the circles with my foam tape so I could have different colored mini shakers. :) The greeting is from the It's All About You set.

Simple St. Patrick's Day Cards

Hello! I made some simple St. Patrick's Day cards using the Spring Holiday Cards Cricut cartridge and my Cricut Explore machine. I used the Lucky Day Shamrock background from PeachyKeenStamps on all the card fronts. That is a great background that you should totally get before it's gone forever! :) I also used the Stitched Rectangular Frames And More dies from MyCreativeTime on all the cut panels to add just a little detail. Still super quick!
Love that subtle background. You can see it better in real life. Promise. ;)
And this last one just cracks me up! :) I sent this one to my Father In Law. :)

I hope you're having a fabulous Sunday!

You're purr-fect!

Hello! As soon as I saw the fabulous new I Knead You set from My Favorite Things I knew I wanted to make this card! :) I used the awesome Stitched Window Dies And Accessories from MyCreativeTime for the window and shelf. I sandwiched acetate in the window for the "glass". I colored the sweet kitty from the I Knead You set with my Prismacolor colored pencils. The beauty part of this guy is that he also has a backside stamp! SO CUTE! So I used both the I Knead You Stamps and I Knead You Dies to make this card. And here is the inside...
Eek! I wub his kitty backside! SO CUTE! And because I wanted to keep the card pretty on the inside {so nothing could be seen through the window} I made a "flap" inside so I can flip it up and write in there. The greeting on the front is from the You Had Me At Meow set from MyCreativeTime

Happy almost Friday! :)

p.s. As I type this, my orange kitty Simba is in the window. :)
