You octopi my heart.

Hello! Here is a card I put together using a background I made with distress inks as "homework" for the Background Check class at OnlineCardClasses. The octopus and greeting are from the Beach Babies Digi set by PeachyKeenStamps. The cutest face ever is from the Sweet On You Face Assortment by PeachyKeenStamps. I colored the octopus with my Copics. I used the Stitched Rectangular Frames And More Dies, Stitched Oval Dies, and the Vintage Labels Dies all from MyCreativeTime.

Too hot! Hot Damn! Make a dragon wanna retire man!

So I was walking on my treadmill watching Uptown Funk on YouTube, and this card popped into my head. I finished up my miles, and then I made it happen. :) If you haven't heard Uptown Funk {live under a rock perhaps? ☺} you MUST watch/listen to it! It's the most positive and super fun song! And, if you're looking to get some exercise motivation, you need this on your playlist! :) Anyhoo, here is my super duper FUNKY dragon....

Is he funky, or is he FUNKY??? HAHA! I used the adorable Faceless Dragons Digis and Dragon Family Face Assortment from PeachyKeenStamps. His shades are from the Beach Babies Digi set by PeachyKeenStamps. I added the lyrics from Uptown Funk, and bam! My vision was realized. :) I colored him with my Copics. I added wink of stella to his wings, horns. and toes. I used the sakura glitter pen on his shades. I added glossy accents to the horns, shades, and toes.

Hello! I hope you're having a relaxing Sunday. For my card today I used the totally sweet Rosie's Favorites Face Assortment by PeachyKeenStamps. I stamped the face on the adorable baby sailor in the Beach Babies Digi Set by PeachyKeenStamps. The Beach Babies Digi set is awesome! There are TONS of images in that set. :) Anyhoo, I colored my baby sailor with my Copics {I'll list colors below}. The greeting is also from the Beach Babies Digi set. I cut it out with the banner from the Vintage Labels Dies by MyCreativeTime. I've also used the Stitched Rectangular Frames And More Dies and the Stitched Oval Dies by MyCreativeTime. The patterned paper is from the Ahoy There 6x6 pad by Carta Bella.

Hello! I asked Kathy from PeachyKeenStamps for a cactus set, and she delivered! Thanks so much, Kathy! :) Isn't this cactus just adorable?! Eek! It is from the Cactus Digital File set. I gave my cute cactus a face from the new In The Garden 2 Face Assortment by PeachyKeenStamps. Her sunglasses are from the Beach Babies Digi set by PeachyKeenStamps. I colored the cactus, sunglasses, and the sand with my Copics {I'll list colors below}. I used tumbled glass distress ink for the sky. I used the Bunch Of Fun Circles Dies and the Stitched Rectangular Frames And More Dies from MyCreativeTime. I used the banner from the Vintage Labels Dies to cut out the greeting which is from the Cactus Digital File set by PeachyKeenStamps.

p.s. I use the Silhouette Studio program to work with digi stamps. It's FREE, and super easy to use. You can manipulate the images...flip, enlarge, shrink, etc...Really makes digi's a great addition to your stamping! I was scared of digi's at first, but now I'm hooked! :)

p.p.s. You don't need a Silhouette machine to have the program. I just use it for printing my digi's. Oh, here's a tip, click the button to "show print border" on the mat. Makes squeezing tons of digi's on the mat easy to print...without wasting any space. :)

Hello! I hope you had a fabulous 4th of July! I used the new Rosie's Favorites Face Assortment from PeachyKeenStamps for the adorable face on the jellyfish. That super fun jellyfish is from the new Beach Babies Digi Stamp Set by PeachyKeenStamps. I colored the jellyfish with my Copics {I'll list colors below}. After I colored it, I masked it with liquid frisket so I could create the water. I used distress inks and water to make the ocean. Then I rubbed off the liquid frisket and added wink of stella to the jellyfish. Yay for a glittery jellyfish! HA! I used the Stitched Oval Dies and the Stitched Rectangular Frames And More Dies by MyCreativeTime to create my shaker window. I used the banner from the Vintage Label Dies to cut out the greeting that is in the Beach Babies Digi set by PeachyKeenStamps. TIP ALERT- to cut out a digi greeting with a die, first cut scrap paper with the die you want to use. Then lay the "negative" over what you want to cut out and pop the die in place. Secure it with washi tape, and run it through your machine. Voila!

Hello! I hope your 4th weekend is off to a fabulous start! :) You could make it fabulous-er by picking up some NEW Peachy faces for yourself! HA! I used the brand new Black Eyed Peaches Face Assortment on my adorable fishies. The fishies and sandcastle are from the super cute Beach Babies Digi Stamp Set. I colored the fish, sandcastle, and sand with Copics {I'll list colors below}. I made the water with broken china, cracked pistachio, salty ocean, and peacock feathers distress inks. I added blobs of glossy accents here and there to make "bubbles". I also added glossy accents to the flag poles, and I added wink of stella here and there as well. Forgot to say that the greeting is also in the Beach Babies Digi Set that is coming very soon. :)
