MCT Thoughtful Thursday

Hello! It's Thoughtful Thursday at MyCreativeTime. Today I've made a thank you card using the super cute Home Sweet Home set for the images and greeting. I used the More Stitched Edges for the hills. I watercolored the hills and background, and Copic colored the mushrooms.

I used the Build A Sunray set to stamp the background. I used the More Stitched Circle dies to make the sun shaker window. I used the new Create set for the greeting. I used Lemon Yellow Hero Arts shadow ink. To finish, I added some sequins.

MCT Trending Now

Hello! It's Trending Now day at MyCreativeTime. We are looking at the flamingo trend...which I LOVE! I simply adore flamingos. At Sea World in San Diego, I defied the rules and fed flamingos with my bare hands rather than throwing the pellets to them. I'm such a rebel. :) Anyhoo, I used the Already Missing You set by MyCreativeTime. I stamped and masked, and masked and stamped the flower frame. :) I colored everything with my Copics. 

I realized after I had this all stamped that I had inadvertently "cased" Kelly Latevola's card...that was her "case" of some of my cards...is that like the Inception of card land??? HA! Kelly rules.

MCT Fave Die of the Month

Hello! It's Favorite Die of the month day at MyCreativeTime. This time we are featuring the Social Media Dies. I used the "hashtag" along with "HBD" from the Pretty Bold Letter Dies. I heat embossed flowers from the Just Because Set. I watercolored with traditional watercolors. To finish, I added wink of stella and glossy accents to the letters. :)

MCT Manly Monday

Hello! It's "Manly Monday" at MyCreativeTime. Today we make masculine cards. I used the new You Are My Sunshine set for the clouds and the rain. The greeting is from the Cute Tag Sentiments set. I used the awesome Stitched Umbrella Die. I colored it with my Copics. I finished it off with glossy accents.

You're Dog-gone awesome

Hiya! I hope you're having a wonderful weekend. I made this card to play along in the current MFT Sketch Challenge. I really super love how this turned out! I haven't done inlaid die cutting in a long time...it's such a cool technique! I used the adorable Lucky Dog set by MFT. I colored them with my Copics.

I used the new Mom set to white heat emboss the flowers, and cut it out with the coordinating dies. I watercolored with distress markers. I used the new "freebie" You Inspire Me set for the greeting and the label it's on. I inked up the Stripey Background with distress markers and sprayed with water to stamp the background. I also used the Stitched Oval Dies.
