MCT Tag It Tuesday

Hello! It's Tag It Tuesday at MyCreativeTime. Today we have the above photo and color combo for inspiration. As usual, I've put my tag on a card. :) Here it is...

Bright enough for ya? :) I started by making my background. I made it by stamping the grid pattern from the Get Schooled set with soft granite shadow ink. I stamped over that with the trio of stars from the Trick Or Treat set using lime green shadow ink. I stamped "Ride it and Fly it" repeatedly with lime green and neon orange Hero Arts inks. I then used the Stitched Round Tab, Arrow, And Tag Die to cut it out.

I stamped the "if the broom fits" from the Trick Or Treat set with charcoal shadow ink. I used the circle from the Bunch Of Fun Circles Dies. The neon orange strip is a tag cut in half from the Tag Layers dies {inked with neon orange ink}. And the broom is from the Wicked Fun Dies. To finish it off, I added wink of stella to the broom...and of course, some sequins. :)

MCT Made In Minutes

Hello. It's Made In Minutes Monday at MyCreativeTime. I made this card for Emma's sister who lost her sweet dog Raider last week. :( Breaks my heart to hear of someone losing a furry baby. 

I made the card base and layer with the Stitched Rectangular Frames And More dies. I die cut the window for the sequins with the Live Love Bark set. 

I stamped the name on the banner from the Stitched Vintage Label Dies using the Alpha Pack.

p.s. The most time consuming part about this card was gluing down the sequins. You could make it much faster by substituting some pretty patterned paper instead. :)

I baked you a cake...and SALE info :)

Hello! Happy Friday to ya! :) For my card today I used my cricut. GASP! LOL. I cut the raccoon using the Live Simply Cricut Cartridge. He is cut at 2.5 inches. His adorable face is from the Raccoon Face And Head Assortment by PeachyKeenStamps. BTW it's on SALE! :) His sweet party hat is from the Elephant Parade set by PeachyKeenStamps. 

I made the card base and layer with the Stitched Rectangular Frames And More die set by MyCreativeTime. I used the Stitched Grass Die also by MyCreativeTime. I used the Speech Bubble Sentiments set for the speech bubble die. I stamped the greeting from the fabulous Sentiments For September 2014 set by PeachyKeenStamps in the speech bubble....and the continuation of the greeting on the inside....

Love that set! Gotta love a funny greeting! :)

MCT Designer Challenge

Hello! It's time for another Designer Challenge at MyCreativeTime! This time you can use either the photo above or the sketch below {or both!} as your inspiration. :)

I chose to use the photo inspiration. Here is my card...

I used the Rectangular Stitched Frames And More set for my card base and layer. I made the circle for my moon with the Bunch Of Fun Circles Dies. Then my favorite part, gluing the sequins. :)

The bats and the greeting are from the Wicked Fun Dies set. I added wink of stella glitter pen to the bats, and then coated them with glossy accents.

Inspiration Wednesday

Hiya! It's Inspiration Wednesday at MyCreativeTime. I have no picture of what inspired this card, because there isn't one. LOL. I had the news on and they said, "It's a vicious cycle."...and BAM! This card just popped into my head. :) I die cut the bicycle from the Way To Go set. I cut it from the white panel again and then inlaid all the bits and pieces back in. This is a really cool look in real life. 

I made the sentiment with the Alpha Pack. I kept this totally simple, and I think it's pretty darn funny. Hardy har har.

MCT Die of the Month

Hello! Today we have the above photo/color palette to use as inspiration. Also, we'll be using the Stitched Restroom Peeps dies because they are the Die Of The Month at MyCreativeTime. Here's my card...

I used the 3 Stitched Stars dies. I stamped "No Way" from the Things I Love set. I stamped the "18" using the fabulous Alpha Pack. I stamped "dude"with the Label Font set on the banner from the Vintage Stitched Labels die. 

I added glossy accents to the Stitched Restroom Peeps dude, and added sequins. The patterned papers are from the Hey Boy collection by Basic Grey.

Happy World Card Making Day...again! ;)

Hello again! :) As promised, here is the other card I made today. I used the same Nob Hill papers on this card, but this card is girly. I kept this really simple because I love that patterned paper. So pretty on its own. I did add clear wink of stella glitter pen to the flowers and and buds, but it doesn't show up in the pic. I white heat embossed the greeting from the Fun Variety On The Inside And Out set by MyCreativeTime.

In addition to enjoying card making today, I've also had my own backyard air show with the Blue Angels! :) There is an air show going on here at MCAS Miramar this weekend, but I can just look from my back yard. :)
