Welcome Sweet Baby

Hello! Here is the card I made for my friend who just welcomed a baby girl into her family. Congrats Erica and fam! Erica is a blogger and she is awesome. Check out her blog HERE. On to the card deets. You may be thinking...a skull on a baby card??? LOL I know that it's super non-traditional, but I dig it! The skull is from the Rock Princess cartridge. I coated it with 2 layers of rock candy distress stickles. I inked the bow with spun sugar distress ink and finished it off with glossy accents.

Lots of fun shine and sparkle. :) I stamped the Sweet Lace Background from MarketStreetStamps and inked it with spun sugar distress ink. For the sentiment I first stamped the "welcome sweet baby" from the All Star Baby set from MyCreativeTime. Then I used the Stepping Stone Alphabet set from Hero Arts to spell out the baby's name. And isn't that just the sweetest name?! OH and the skull is on a wobble so it wiggles. :)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY BESTIE....I WUB YOU EMMA!!!! ANYHOO....I'm sorry I'm a little late, but my Mom's internet is rude sometimes....For my card I got the scalloped card base from the Smiley Cards cartridge. I cut out two circles and white embossed polka dots {someones fav!} using the medium Polka stamp from PeachyKeenStamps.com. Then I cut one in half and lined it up. The sentiment is from Emma's set called Mom You Rock. The cupcake is from the Rock Princess cartridge and the cute face is from the Wide Eyed Kids Assortment from PeachyKeenStamp.com.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOMMY!!!

Today is my Mommy's birthday!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOMMY!!! I know what you're thinking...Um, Nikki??? You know you put a skull on your Mom's birthday card, right??? Yes I do! My Mom is now an honorary Mexican {hehehehe they are ALWAYS in Mexico} and she LOVES these Mexican skull thingy's. I used the Smiley Cards cartridge for the card base and the "cute" skull came from Rock Princess.

I attached the skull with a wobble so it wiggles. ☺ I used Emma's Mom You Rock set for the sentiment on the from of the card and on the inside.....

The Happy Birthday stamp is from PaperTreyInk.com. Anyhoo, I hope you like your card Mommy!!! It will be waiting for you when you decide to come home from Mexico! hehehe

Think Pink *Rock Princess*

Hellllooooooo! Today was an AWESOME mail day!!!! I got Rock Princess, Winter Frolic, Country Life, October 31st, and Pumpkin Carving. So, here is my first card with Rock Princess. ☺ I am making up a few sets of different cards to donate to my friend Gail for her breast cancer fundraising event she has every year. I just ADORE this cute converse shoe!!! AHHH SO CUTE!!!! I thought it would be a great encouragement card for someone who is doing a Relay for Life walk. I hope you like it as much as I do! ☺
