Throwback Thursday!

Hiya and welcome to another Throwback Thursday Challenge. For this challenge we are using any retired cricut cartridge. You can go HERE for a list of retired cartridges. For my card today I used the Camp Out cartridge. I cut the base of the tree out of kraft cardstock and stamped the trunk with the Distressed Wood stamp from PinkByDesign. I cut the top of the tree out of watercolor paper and went crazy with about a billion distress inks. ;) I finished it by misting with copper perfect pearls.

The perfectly adorable sentiment is from Emma's set called All Around Halloween. OH and I also made my background paper out of watercolor paper and distress inks...and if you look VERY closely, you can see that along the bottom I used Emma's Stitched Only Circle Die which embosses. Congrats!

Hello and happy Monday! Here is the card I made for my "baby" nephew that graduated from the 8th grade. Sniff sniff...all growed up! Anyhoo...I used Emma's set called Follow Your Dreams for both the grad hats and the sentiments {inside and out}...Sorry the photos are so terrible...looks better in real life I swear. I stamped the hats directly onto the card and stamped some extra to cut out and pop dot up.

I heat embossed the front sentiment with white embossing powder...and here is the inside

SUPER easy card, but he's a boy and I tend to girl things up WAY too much! HA

HAPPY BIRTHDAY EMMA...Surprise Hop

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY BESTIE....I WUB YOU EMMA!!!! ANYHOO....I'm sorry I'm a little late, but my Mom's internet is rude sometimes....For my card I got the scalloped card base from the Smiley Cards cartridge. I cut out two circles and white embossed polka dots {someones fav!} using the medium Polka stamp from PeachyKeenStamps.com. Then I cut one in half and lined it up. The sentiment is from Emma's set called Mom You Rock. The cupcake is from the Rock Princess cartridge and the cute face is from the Wide Eyed Kids Assortment from PeachyKeenStamp.com.

Happy Mother's Day

Happy Monday peeps! I LOVE how this card turned out!!! :o) I stamped the Lace background stamp from PinkByDesign with a smokey grey ink. I then used my blending tools and distress inks in worn lipstick and pumice stone to get this shabby look. I used my Martha Stewart 3 in 1 butterfly punch for the butterflies that I used the same stamping technique on. I also gave them a good misting of perfect pearls in the perfect pearl {white} color. You can see the shine a little better here...

The sentiment is from Emma's set called Mom You Rock. I hope you like this one as much as I do! ;) I have a brand new chalk ink pad just waiting to get used...so, I'm off to get my inkin' on!

Throwback Thursday...You make me SMILE

Hiya peeps! It's Throwback Thursday time again!!! Our challenge this time is to create a project using the good ol' Walk in My Garden cartridge. I turned one of the envelopes from the cartridge into a sort of card that is the gift too. I don't know how else to explain that! HA Untie the ribbon and voila!...

I have always loved this sweet turtle from WIMG. I gave her a face using the Critter Faces Small set from PeachyKeenStamps.com. I used Martha Stewart glitter on her shell which you can now get from PeachyKeenStamps.com too! Cool, huh?!

I used the harlequin stamp from Emma's My Journaling set to make the coordinating patterned paper at the bottom. The super sweet sentiment is from Emma's set called Turn That Frown Upside Down. So pop over to Emma's Blog to see what the rest of the design team made and to play along!

Happily Ever After

Hoppy Saturday! I decided to play with some NEW PeachyKeen's today. For this card I used the adorable Mark and Sharen Love Frogs. Aren't they CUTE??!! I colored them, as always, with my prismacolor colored pencils and blended with odorless mineral spirits.

The sentiment is from the You Had Me At Chocolate set from Emma "MyCreativeTime"...and I got my order of gorgeous twine in the mail today from PinkByDesign. Here I used the Cotton Candy color. Which, by the way, goes PERFECTLY with my favorite hibiscus burst from PaperTreyInk.com!  ☺

Cupid Brought us Together

Well, here it is, my first card using Emma's stamps!!! I used the You had me at Chocolate set for this card. I used my new Life's a Party cartridge for the heart card base. And the pretty little cupid image is from the Celebrate With Flourish cartridge.

The paper is from Martha Stewart except for the kraft which is from PaperTreyInk.com. Ok, I hope you likey! I LOVE LOVE LOVE Emma's new stamps!!! SOOOO PRETTY!!!
