Cards for a good cause :)

Hello! This morning I saw a post on facebook from Rescue Junkie, {the organization that rescued my sweet Wrigley Pearl from a kill shelter} it talked about how desperately they need funds to help with their efforts to save lives. Well, I decided I'd make 2 cards to auction off and donate that money to Rescue Junkie...and maybe inspire some donations for this great organization as well! If you're able to donate even a few dollars it means so much. :)

MCT "Do Over" Thursday

Hello! It's "Do Over" day at MyCreativeTime. I took my card design from this card I made a while ago...I just flipped it, and simplified it.

MCT Blog Hop

Hello! You should have arrived from Liz's Blog, if not, head HERE to start at the beginning. For my card I used the More Stitched Circles dies to make a shaped card. I used the new Make A Wish set to emboss the images and watercolored with distress ink. I heat embossed the greeting on vellum.

MCT Sneaks Day 4

Hello! It's day 4 of sneaks for MyCreativeTime. Today we are sneaking the new Circle Balloon Dies and Script Words stamps. I watercolored the balloons with distress inks. I used the greeting as a balloon string, and drew in the others with a pen.

MCT Sneaks Day 2

Hiya! It's day 2 of sneaks for MyCreativeTime. Today we are sneaking the new Shine Like The Stars set. I made a galaxy background with distress inks. I flicked on water and while acrylic paint for the stars. I used the big stars from the new Shine Like The Stars set as well. I stamped the greeting on a vellum circle, and colored the back with copics to make it look like a moon.

MCT Trending Now

Hello! It's Trending Now day at MyCreativeTime. We are looking at the flamingo trend...which I LOVE! I simply adore flamingos. At Sea World in San Diego, I defied the rules and fed flamingos with my bare hands rather than throwing the pellets to them. I'm such a rebel. :) Anyhoo, I used the Already Missing You set by MyCreativeTime. I stamped and masked, and masked and stamped the flower frame. :) I colored everything with my Copics. 

I realized after I had this all stamped that I had inadvertently "cased" Kelly Latevola's card...that was her "case" of some of my cards...is that like the Inception of card land??? HA! Kelly rules.

MCT Fave Die of the Month

Hello! It's Favorite Die of the month day at MyCreativeTime. This time we are featuring the Social Media Dies. I used the "hashtag" along with "HBD" from the Pretty Bold Letter Dies. I heat embossed flowers from the Just Because Set. I watercolored with traditional watercolors. To finish, I added wink of stella and glossy accents to the letters. :)
