Try Me Tuesday-Make your own stencil

Hello! It's Try Me Tuesday over at MyCreativeTime, and today we made our own stencils using MyCreativeTime dies. I made my stencil using the Stitched Cartoon Clouds dies. I die cut them from acetate. I used White Embossing Paste over it. I put it on thick to get very textured clouds. I cut vellum tags with the Stitched Round Tab, Arrow, And Tag Dies. 

I white heat embossed the greeting from the It's All About You set. I added some Silver Sparkle Twine and a bunch of sequins to finish it off. Oh, forgot to mention, I made the card base and panel with the fabulous Stitched Rectangular Frames And More die set.

Made In Minutes

Hello! It's Made In Minutes Monday at MyCreativeTime. We have the above photo for inspiration. Here's my silly take on it...

The card base, layer, and sentiment strip are made with the new Rectangular Stitched Frames And More dies. The pumpkin was made with the egg die in the Hello Spring set. The leaf is from the Piles Of Smiles set. And the pumpkin stem, {I giggled when I found the perfect die for the stem} is the leg from the Classy Girl And Furbaby dies. I just chopped her foot off. OUCH! haha. The 'stache on the pumpkin is from the Here's Lookin At You set. I used the Fun Stitched Edges dies for the borders. And I used the fabulous Alpha Pack for the greeting. :)

MCT 36th Edition Release Blog Hop

Hello! You should have arrived from Shar's Blog, if not, head HERE to start at the beginning. For my card I used the fabulous new Rectangular Stitched Frames And More dies to create my shaker. I used the biggest and smallest die to make my shaker window. For my inside panel I used the leaf dies from the new A Thankful Heart set to do some inlaid die cutting. I did them inlaid because they need to lay flat/flush so the sequins can shake. :)

I colored the leaves with Picked Raspberry, Festive Berries, Seedless Preserves, and Dusty Concord Distress Inks. I got super messy. ;) After they dried, I sprinkled on some Gold Lame color shine mist by Heidi Swapp. I gold heat embossed the greeting with the new Something To Be Thankful For stamp {which is FREE for the first 150 shoppers}. I filled my window with sequins and called it done.

MCT Sneaks Day 3

Hiya! It's day 3 of sneaks for MyCreativeTime. Today we are sneaking a new set called A Thankful Heart. This is a new stamp set with coordination dies. It's super awesome. :) I made this card with the dies and a stamp. 

The patterned paper on this card is from the Friendly Forest collection by Doodlebug. And I wanted  to show how this set could also be used for non fall themed cards...

I used a die from the new Rectangular Stitched Frame Dies And More to cut the window. I stamped the solid image from A Thankful Heart with Mint Julep Hero Arts Shadow Ink. 

I white heat embossed the greeting from A Thankful Heart.

MCT Sneaks Day 2

Hello! It's day 2 of sneaks for MyCreativeTime. Today we are sneaking 2 new sets. The Wicked Fun Dies and Trick Or Treat stamp set. I've used them both on my card. I used circle from the Bunch Of Fun Circles Dies to mount my web. 

I cut the spider a few times and layered him up...and added wink of stella and glossy accents to him. Lots of cool dimension on this card in real life. :)

Tag It Tuesday- "Hello Sunshine"

Hello! It's Tag It Tuesday at MyCreativeTime. Today we make tags, or in my case, add tags to a card. ;) We also had the above photo and color palette to use as inspiration. I LOVE yellow and grays! Here is my card...

I started by stamping the Sripey Background with Lemon Chiffon ink from SimonSaysStamp. I'm so glad I found that color! Such a great soft yellow...AND it's the same formula ink as my beloved Hero Arts Shadow Inks. So, I highly recommend those inks too. :) I stamped the Cartoon Cloud Background with Soft Granite HA shadow ink on the Stitched Round Tab, Arrow, and Tag Dies. I also cut another one out of vellum. I cut the "hello" from the Speech Bubble Sentiments set 4 times and glued them together to give it a little umph. 

I made the sun with the Build A Banner set. I colored it with the Lemon Chiffon ink and added clear wink of stella glitter pen for sparkle. I stamped "sunshine" using the Alpha Pack with Soft Granite ink on the banner from the Vintage Labels Dies. I added glossy accents to the hello...a few sequins and it's done. :)

Birthday card and a FLASH SALE! :)

Hello! I made this card today with the new Smile Eagle set from PeachyKeenStamps. I paper pieced him and gave him a face from the new Variety Faces 1 1/8 set. The balloon is from the new September 2014 set from PeachyKeenStamps. 

I used the Fun Stitched Edge dies from MyCreativeTime for the hill, and the Cartoon Cloud Dies. I stamped and white heat embossed the greeting from the Smile Eagle set on the hill. Oh, and the eagle is on a wobble so he wiggles. :)

Hiya! I hope you're having a happy Saturday. :) For my card today I used the new Smile Eagle set from PeachyKeenStamps. I paper pieced the sweet eagle and gave her a face from the Variety Faces 1 1/8 set. 

I tramped her up a bit with pink glittery eyeshadow and pink glitter talon polish. ;) The greeting is also from the new Smile Eagle set. BTW...both sets used on this card are on sale. :)

MCT Designer Challenge

Hello! It's time for another Designer Challenge at MyCreativeTime. This time we have the above photo for inspiration. Here is my card...

I went with the minty/greeny/blue from the inspiration photo. I used the Vintage Labels Die for my vellum window. 

I gold heat embossed the greeting from the It's All About You set. Love that set! Added some sequins and called it done.

Made In Minutes Monday- "You are Awesome"

Hello! It's Made In Minutes Monday at MyCreativeTime. Today we make projects that are easy/quick. For my card, I used the solid image stamp from the Love To Learn set. I stamped it in pale tomato, orange soda, butter bar, green hills, tide pool, and passion flower Hero Arts shadow inks. 

I stamped the greeting from the You Are Fabulous set in Ranger archival jet black ink. To finish, I added a few gems. :)

MCT Inspiration Wednesday "Always and Forever"

Hello! Today is Inspiration Wednesday at MyCreativeTime. Today we share projects and what we were inspired by to create them. My inspiration is my husband. ;) Today is our 15th anniversary! ♥ I made this card for him, and it accidentally ended up covered in sequins. Whoops! hehehe. 

I stamped my card base with the Geo Borders set with Soft Pool Hero Arts shadow ink. I cut my panel with the ampersand die from the And Then Some set. I then traced it onto another panel for my sequins. Then the fun part, gluing all the sequins! :) I use glossy accents to glue them down. 

I used the tall font in the Alpha Pack set for my sentiment. I was going to scatter some more sequins on the front, but I was able to stop myself. HA! ;)

A Peachy Pumpkin :)

Hi! I hope you've had a wonderful labor day weekend. :) For my card today I stamped and paper pieced the pumpkin from the Haunted Pumpkin House set by PeachyKeenStamps. I ♥ this BIG pumpkin! That set is on sale now! Yay! 

I stamped the face from the Jack-O'-Lantern Face Assortment by PeachyKeenStamps. That set is also on sale! Woot! I put the pumpkin on a wobble so it wiggles. :)
