a "tag" and enabling! :)

Hello! Here is the tag I made for our Challenge One for release week for PeachyKeenStamps. I started with the neat wooden tag that comes in the new Peachy Picks Kit. I used broken china distress stain to color it quickly. I let that dry and then coated it with rock candy distress stickles for some shine. Let it all  dry...I stamped the adorable penguin from the Skatin' By set from PeachyKeenStamps twice so I could paper piece it. The papers are from the Peachy Picks Kit. It didn't quite match the blue, so I inked that papers with broken china distress ink for a perfect match. That's a neat thing to remember...it's ok to ink up patterned papers too! :) I turned my "tag" into an ornament. The bow and super neat snowflakes are also included in the new Peachy Picks Kit

And there's the Peachy Keen sale info...and they now carry a tool that I think ALL STAMPERS MUST HAVE! I seriously don't know how I lived without it. It's just fabulous...and if you have dexterity issues of any kind, you NEED this tool! It's the Fiskars Stamp Press. And I think the best part about it is that LARGE full size backgrounds fit on it just perfectly! It makes managing those large stamps so easy! Also, it's almost impossible to mess up your stamping with it! Those sponge feet hold it up and squish down super easily when you're ready to stamp...not when you accidentally drop the block! LOL ...it works with both clear and cling mount stamps.

See! That HUGE background fits! :) This this is genius! Our fabulous leader Kathy Jakopovich made a video HERE showing the Fiskars Stamp Press in action for perfect stamping on SVG cuts {which can be challenging}...perfect results every time!

So I suggest adding this Fiskars Stamp Press to your cart while you're shopping the fabulous sale at PeachyKeenStamps! You will wonder how you lived without it! I know I sure did.

  10. totally love your tag turned ornament, its adorable, so pretty lvoe the colour and all the shine.
I actually have one of those, have had it for years, its been tucked away but I've just pulled it out. It is large and comes with two additional stamping pieces that pop into the holes on the piece that the sponges are attached to. Sweet....I usually just place the stamps on the paper where I want them, remove and stamp again but yes this will make things easier and no more dropping the inked up stamp and block ;) I just watched Kathy's video about 10 minutes ago to, lol great post, tfs Nikki
