Hello! You should have arrived from Nancy's Blog. If not, head back HERE to the beginning. Ok...on we go. Here is a mini tutorial using the fabulous new dies called Lower Case Fun Dies.
I cut a 4.25x 5.5 inch panel of Post-It Craft Paper {sticky all over like a Post-It note}. I ran it through my vagabond machine with the new Lower Case Fun Dies set. I popped out all of the letters because I wanted to use the "negative" images. I used the popped out "positive" letters on THIS card...I adhered the panel to white cardstock and inked it up with peacock feathers distress ink. I zapped it with my heat tool and then sprayed on a mix of perfect pearls and water in a mini mister. Zapped it again to dry it. Then I peeled off the letters mask I made. Here's the result...
Bam! Custom inked lettered background! {guess I got snap happy and took the pic before peeling up the centers on some of the letters}. Sparkly letters to boot! FUN! :) And here is my finished card...
I had it in my mind all along that I wanted to highlight the "hi" and make that my sentiment. I created the window with the XL Label die. I inked it with brushed pewter distress stain. It is really so much cooler looking in real life! I stamped the stitched circle from the Vintage Label Stamps around the "hi".
For a final touch I added glossy accents to the "hi" to really make it pop. Again, this is much cooler in real life...I swear! LOL
Ok...I made another card. It's pretty weird, but I think it's funny. I saw an ornament with the saying on Pinterest and I just had to make a card. Sorry the pictures are awful, it's dreary here.
Get it? Like dashing only stashing? HAHAHAHA Ok, well it cracked me up! I know that the spelling is horrendous, but it's funny! Anyhoo...the mustache is from the What's Growing On set. The "stashing" was made with the Label Font Stamp Set. I used the Lower Case Fun Dies to cut the letters from THIS fabulous glitter cardstock from PeachyKeenStamps.
I added lots of glossy accents to the mustache. :)
Ok...hope you enjoyed...now on with the hop you go
next stop is the fabulous ROSY
and here's the hop list in case you get lost
