Hello! I'm playing along in the MyFavoriteThings Sketch Challenge. Here is my card...

I used the adorable You Make My Tail Wag set by MyFavoriteThings for the sweet doggy and her bed. I colored them with my Copics. I colored her to look like my Mom in law's doggy Greta. :)

You make my tail wag

Hello! I made this card to enter in both the MFT Sketch and MFT Color Challenges. I used the adorable You Make My Tail Wag set from MyFavoriteThings. I stamped and colored the doggy using my Copic markers. I'm still getting the hang of Copics, so be gentle. ;) I stamped the paws and bones also from the You Make My Tail Wag set on the Stitched Capture Frame from MyCreativeTime. I used the Fun Stitched Edges along the bottom. And here is the card open...

I had to do a little card surgery to make this work. LOL! I had accidentally made this a top folding card, so my doggy was hanging upside down. HA! So I lopped it off and made a side folding card with a little hinge. Problem solved. :) The greeting inside is also from the You Make My Tail Wag set. BTW there is acetate in the window. :)

Congratulations

Hello! I made this card to play along in the MyFavoriteThings Color Challenge. Here it is...

My brother and his family recently got a new puppy. They named him Jax. I think it's so cool that you can add a name to the bone on the doghouse from the You Make My Tail Wag set from MyFavoriteThings. Anyhoo, I colored all my elements with Prismacolor colored pencils. That sweet doggy actually has his leg lifted up {about to do his business} LOL. But I altered my stamped image by cutting that lifted leg off, and sticking it behind the front leg. :) I added glossy accents to his nose, and to the bone on the doghouse. I inked my scene with distress inks. I promise my colors are really the challenge colors. Cruddy photo. ;) 

I hope my bro and his family like this card to welcome their new puppy. :)
