Boombox Shaker Card

Hiya! Happy Friday to you! This is the birthday card I made for my brother. :) I used a chevron stencil and Hero Arts Shadow inks in tide pool, orange soda, butter bar, soft granite, and charcoal to make the patterned paper. I made the boombox shaker using the Groovy Times Cricut cartridge. I did some "contour hiding" so I could make room to hide my foam tape. I cut all the pieces from white and inked them with the same colors I used for the patterned paper. I filled the shaker with Martha Stewart stars glitter. I used the Label Font stamp set from MyCreativeTime to make my greeting.

Jeesh I am LATE in posting this today. I have a good excuse though!!! I'm playing with NEW peachies!!! ☺ And in all the fun I totally spaced out! SORRY Sarah! *slaps self on hand* Anyhoo, it's my DT day for Pink Cricut/ PinkByDesign. I used the super fun Groovy Times cartridge for my skates. Truth be told, they are why I bought this cartridge!!! So cute! I had a pair like them as a wee lass.

You light up my life

Hi! I just want to say that I think you're all groovy in a far out way! HAHA!!! This is the easiest card ever, but I ♥ lava lamps so I still like it. HEHEHEHE I used my new Groovy Times cartridge for the entire card. Used my Cher {gypsy} to weld the card base together. ☺ I used shimmer paper for the "lava"...

Ah I guess you can't really tell in the pics. Anyhoo, I found the PERFECT sentiment for it in the Be Mine stamp set from PinkByDesign. Well I'm off to go CREATE! Hope you're having a GROOVY day!
