Hello. Yesterday the sweet Vivienne Holden passed away after a long battle with cancer. I was lucky enough to come to know here through PeachyKeenStamps. We were on the PKS design team together, and what a pleasure that was. Her talent was only outshone by her kindness. She taught me all sorts of "British Words". She was hilarious. HILARIOUS. She once told me I was, "daft as a box of frogs"...I'm still not entirely sure what the hell that means, but I know it's funny! She will most definitely be missed by me, and all of the PKS family past and present.
Last night I got out my Vivienne And Friends set that was designed for and named after Viv. She would surely say that this was one of her all time favorites, and now I'll surely treasure it forever. I used my Copics to color this little scene. The greeting is from the Friendships Are Forever set by MyCreativeTime.
I'll end this post with lyrics and a song that says it all for me. Goodbye, Viv. ♥
A wonderful card and beautiful tribute to one funny and crafty lady! She will be missed by many who were inspired by her.ReplyDelete

Your card is amazing... and you really are DAFT AS A BOX OF FROGS! I think you're gonna have to draw that one out! AND PS... I don't know what the hell it means either! :( Love you, Nikitty!ReplyDelete
Very pretty card Nikki. I remember Viv when I did a couple of challenges, she would comment for me. She seemed so sweet and her projects were always on point. My deepest sympathies.ReplyDelete
