Hello and welcome to another PeachyKeen Challenge! This time we have the above sketch to follow. For my card, I used one of my all time favorite sets called Faceless Fruit. This is, in my opinion, a total must have set! SO CUTE! ;) Anyhoo, this time I kept them "faceless" but they are oh so sweet with adorable little peachie faces on them!
I stamped the sweet cherries all over my card with staz on ink. Then I colored them with my prismacolor colored pencils and blended with odorless mineral spirits. I stamped a few extra and cut them out so I could pop them up...
I added glossy accents to the cherries that I popped up. It looks really cool in person. ;) The sentiment is from the Country Living set from PinkByDesign. Okie dokie, that's my card for this challenge! Pop over to the Challenge Blog to feast your eyes on the amazing creations from the rest of the design team...AND to jump in and play along!!!

So cute! The glossy accents really make those cherries POP! That is also one of my favorite color combos, plus polka dots, a definite winner in my book! hugs- Glora

Sweet...sweet card,Nikki!! I love how you popped a few up and the sentiment stamp!! :)
ReplyDeleteThis card is so cute, Nikki! It's the perfect summer card!! Fresh, fun, and full of color!! I love that you left the fruit faceless, as it shows the versatility of this set. You are the queen of backgrounds, and popping a few of the cherries up for dimension was a brilliant idea. The sentiment could not have been more perfect, and I love everything about this! One of my all time favorites!!
ReplyDeleteLove ya,
