HELLO!!!! ok, so i went a TAD overboard on these goodie bags...I HAVE SLIGHT OCD! LOL...for some reason i got it in my head that it would be fun to wrap Hershey Nuggets to make them look festive (the first 100 or so were fun)...they DID turn out cute and it's super EASY to do...just a 1 inch by 3.25 inch strip of paper wrapped around the candy....for the labels on the 50+ bags for some of my husbands shipmates i used my Plantin Schoolbook cricut cartridge to cut the heart labels to stamp on....here's how i did it....End Caps, then heart, then four spaces (to leave blank room for the stamping), then shift heart (to get the right end cap)....i then ran them through my cuttlebug in a QuicKutz polka dots embossing folder (yep, works just fine!)
i left the 50+ bags pretty plain, but i wanted to make my sweet sailor's goodie bag fancy ;o) just folded paper over and stapled it...then covered that with a strip of patterned paper...added lace and a bow....the heart with my stamped image ($1.00 at Michaels) is cut at 3 inches on blackout from the SweetHearts cricut cartridge.........after the picture was taken i added diamond stickles to the bee's wings
HAVE A FABULOUS WEEK!!!!
Nikki
