Soooo...I think this may be my new favorite card ever! In today's Summer Card Camp 2 class, Kristina made a window card. If you follow my blog, you know that saying I'm addicted to window/shaker cards lately is a complete understatement! Well, I had the idea today to step it up a notch and make what I'm going to call a "Floating Shaker" card. Floating because the goodies in the window shake and float between two pieces of acetate. To start, I die cut my window on the front panel and on the actual card itself. Then I cut 2 pieces of acetate with the next bigger circle die.
I stamped the front panel with the new Hexy Background Stamp from MyCreativeTime with Soft Granite Hero Arts Shadow Ink. I stamped the greeting from the It's All About You set on the inside of the card with Charcoal Hero Arts Shadow Ink.
I filled the floating shaker window with Pretty Pretty Pink, Just Peachie, Mint, Buttercream, and Crystal Clear sequins from Neat And Tangled.
I forgot to mention that I pulled my color scheme from today's class. ♥
I just ♥ how it turned out! :)
I hope you're having a fabulous day!!!
♥ Nikki ♥
