1 Stamp 2 Ways

Hello! I am taking the Clean And Simple Card Making 2 class over at OnlineCardClasses. The "homework" for today was to use one stamp in three ways. Well, I only got 2 cards made, but I love them both! For this first card I first stamped the Friend Definition background by Hero Arts. I then clear heat embossed the Poppy Background by Hero Arts over that. This way the text shows through the clear embossing powder. I used memento markers to color the flowers.
Love all that shine from the embossing powder! :) And when something turns out so cool, I just can't bring myself to cover it up...so I white heat embossed the sentiment from the Year Round Sentiments set by Hero Arts on vellum. And here's my other card...
For this one, I went for a super clean and simple look. I die cut a circle out of post it paper to create a mask. Then I inked up the Poppy Background and stamped it in the circle. Peeled back the mask and BAM...a one layer card. :) I colored in the flowers with memento markers. Then I went over the blooms with my sakura stardust glitter pen. The sentiment is from the Hooray set by Hero Arts.

I hope you have a fabulous weekend!!!
