Hello MCT friends!!! You should have arrived from Nancy's Blog. If not, head HERE to start at the beginning. I think it's so great to find multiple uses for dies, so that's what I did for my card today. I used the new Treat Slider Box Die to make my card base! Yep, a box into a card base :) I cut it out 3 times. Twice with kraft cardstock, and then my patterned paper for the front. I scored one of the kraft pieces right at the first indent in the scallops. Then I adhered the two kraft pieces together to make the card.
That pretty loopy scallop is also a part of the new Treat Slider Box Die. I heat embossed the sentiment from the new More Of My Favorite Sayings set. Then I added 2 of the Stitched Heart Layering Dies.
You can see that by scoring at that first scallop indent, it will open nicely. :) I used "red tape" or "sticky strip" to adhere it.
Your next stop is the fabulous ROSY
