Hello! It's Nikki here and it's my turn to pick the Designer Challenge for MyCreativeTime. I have chosen embossing. Either wet or dry...or both! :) For my card I used 3 different embossing folders. I don't know about you, but I have TONS of embossing folders! I am ashamed to say that I rarely use them. Time to stop hoarding, and start using! {can I get an amen?!} Anyhoo, I started by embossing the bottom white layer with a folder from the Preserves set by Cuttlebug. Then I stamped the greeting from the Lots of Love set on a white strip of cardstock.
I used the Polka Dots Cuttlebug folder above the greeting, and the Quick Kuts Small Polka Dot folder below it. This way you get two different sizes of dots on one strip. To finish off the strip, I flipped it over and scored lines above and below the greeting. And as a final touch, I added the hearts that I cut with the Stitch Heart Layering dies. A super simple card, but with lots of fun texture. :)
Be sure to pop over to MyCreativeTime to play along with the challenge!
♥ Nikki ♥
p.s. I wish I could have gotten better photo's, but it's yucky outside. :( Really looks nicer in real life.
