MCT 12 Days of Christmas Day 11

Hiya! For my card today I used the fabulous Lowercase Fun Dies to cut out the "j" and "y". I used the ornament from the Warm Holiday Fun set for my "o". I stamped and white heat embossed that zig zag on the ornament that is also in the Warm Holiday Fun set. I inked it and the letters with crushed olive distress ink. That seems to be my go to color lately. I just love that color! 

I used brushed pewter distress stain for the metallic layers and the ornament topper. That stuff is awesome!........... Look closely at the above picture...See the pop dots under the letters and ornament?? No? That's because they are clear! I love trying out {and loving} new products! This clear foam tape is called Kool Tak and it comes in a roll {I got the roll} and squares. Super cool stuff!

Hello! For my card today I used 3 different MyCreativeTime stamp sets to make my own word art background. Super easy, and a great way to get more out of your stamps! I used Warm Holiday Fun... From Our Family To Yours... and It's a Magical Season. 

I added THIS twine and a snowflake and called it done. :)

Hello! For my card I started with a kraft card base. I embossed the white mat with the snowflakes cuttlebug folder. I stamped the argyle from the Coffee Backgrounds set with aged mahogany distress ink for a tone on tone look. I die cut the tags from the Just Tags Stamp and Die set.  

I stamped and white heat embossed the word tree from the Just For You set. I added a bow, a button, and THIS twine from my DT sister's store...Liz's Paper Loft.

PeachyKeen Challenge 46

Hello and happy Friday to you! It's challenge time again at PeachyKeen. The challenge this time is to make an ornament. For my ornament, I used white acrylic paint to paint this chipboard snowflake. I mixed in a little tea dye distress stain to age it a bit. I let it dry and added rock candy distress stickles. I paper pieced the snowman from the Snow Gifts set. The face is from the Snow Cuties Assortment.

PeachyKeen December Release Party Challenges

Hello! There are some fun challenges going on over at the Peachy Keen Connection for our December Release Party. Challenge #1 is to create something with drink on your project. I stamped and paper pieced the bottle from the new December 2012 set on  papers from the December Peachy Picks Kit.

That pretty gem that fits just perfectly on the bottle is also from the December Peachy Picks Kit. And here is my card for Challenge #2

Challenge #2 is to create a project with a word art background and a snowman as a focal point. I stamped the background with the Happy Holidays stamp from the new December 2012 set on to blue paper from the December Peachy Picks Kit. 

I paper pieced this cute snowman from the new Snow Me A Man set with papers from the December Peachy Picks Kit.........how did I line up all that word stamping? EASY!...with the Fiskars Stamp Press.  I didn't draw any guide lines or anything! THIS tool is an absolute must have!

MCT 12 Days of Christmas Day 4

Hello! Today is day 4 of the 12 Days Of Christmas over at MyCreativeTime. I used the XL Label Die to cut a white mat for the new Stitched XL Label die. I stamped the argyle from the Coffee Backgrounds set on to the Stitched XL Label die. The cardstock I used is Scarlet Jewel from PaperTreyInk and I stamped it with aged mahogany distress ink for a tone on tone look.  

I layered the Curly Label Die and the Stitched Curly Label die. I white heat embossed the sentiment from the Mixed Holiday Sentiments. I added some snowflakes and hearts and called it done.

Peachy Keen Sneaks

Hello! It's sneaky peek time again for PeachyKeenStamps! Today my super simple card shows the adorable martini from the new December 2012 set. That olive looks really happy to be soaking in those spirits! HA ;) I paper pieced the drink and olive with papers from the December Peachy Picks Kit. The super cute polka dot paper is also from the December Peachy Picks Kit. 

I white heat embossed the funny sentiment from the new December 2012 set. To finish off the martini, I added some sakura stardust glitter pen to the bubbles and rim of the glass. Sorry the pictures are so dark, it's really shiny and cool in real life.
