MCT Manly Monday

Hello! It's Manly Monday at MyCreativeTime. I used the Get Whale Soon set. I used just the dies to cut out the whale shapes. I watercolored behind them, and popped the panel up. I used the stitched rectangular Frames and More Dies to cut out the panel. I used distress inks to watercolor, and just did some messy stripes for the background paper. Easy peasy. :)

Hello! I'm SO HAPPY to share this new release from Peachy Keen Stamps! The new July 2017 is so so so so awesome! Eek! Ok, I've calmed down. :) Let's start with this mermaid. How adorable is she? I stamped her and her sweet fishy friends {also in this set!} and colored them with my Copics. I made the background with distress ink and water. I love her. Swoon. 

Attention world! THERE IS A SAILOR HAT IN THIS SET!!! I shall now commence to putting sailor hats on ALL THE THINGS! :) Anyhoo, is this not the cutest sea turtle you've ever seen?! I colored him with my Copics. I made the background with distress inks and stencils. Oh, and in "super ridiculously proud Aunt news", my nephew Zach joined the United States Navy this week! ♥ I sent this card to him. ♥ 

Ok, my last card for today is a funny one! I made this super awesome pirate ride on the sea turtle! Eek! :) To make this happen I cut off his leg and peg leg {he didn't scream} and positioned them the way I wanted. Then I cut out the turtle's head {again, no screaming} and popped it up. I colored the images with my Copics, and did the background with distress inks and a cloud stencil...even for the water. {just flip it!} :) That punny greeting is also in the new July 2017 set :) 

Ok, now onto my other news for today. I did my first crafty broadcast on Periscope the other day. I was super nervous, but everyone was so nice and supportive! I ended up having lots of fun. So much so that I was on for almost an hour and a half! Oops. HA! Soooooo...I'm going to be going LIVE tonight at 6pm EST {5 CST, 4 MST, 3 PST} :) I'll be showing how to mask and color a little beach scene using the new July 2017 set from Peachy Keen Stamps. MCT Whatever Wednesday

It's Whatever Wednesday at MyCreativeTime. I used the Healing Wishes set for the flowers. I colored them in a way to go from gray to muted to bright. I wanted to use the greeting from the You Are A Blessing set. My idea was to show "taking care of yourself" in colors. Anyway, it made sense in my mind. LOL. I colored them with my Copics.

Hello! I hope you're having a fantastic weekend! I used the new Peachkin Dolls stamp set by Peachy Keen Stamps for the little boy and his sweet face. Isn't he adorable?! Eek. Love him. The kitty is from the Here Kitty Cupcake set by Peachy Keen Stamps. His little kitty face is from the Kitty, Bird, And Mice Face Assortment set by Peachy Keen Stamps. The greeting is from the May 2017 set. I colored everything with my Copics.

What bird?

Hello! I hope you're having a happy day! Happier than the bird that was once in this cage. {allegedly} ;)  I used the Bird Homes set by PeachyKeenStamps for the bird cage. I used the kitty from the Here Kitty Cupcake set, and a face from the Kitty Face Assortment set. For the greeting, I combined a few words from the June 2017 set to make my custom greeting. I poked a tiny hole in the mouth to have the feather sticking out.

Hello! I just can't get enough of the June 2017 set by PeachyKeenStamps! How cute is this happy little piggy?! Eek! :) I colored everything with my Copics. The greeting is also from the June 2017 set.

MCT Cook And Craft

Hello! Today is "Cook and Craft" day at MyCreativeTime. For my craft, I made a clean and simple card. I used the Berry Special set for the pears and the greeting. I colored the pears with my Copic markers. Their faces were made with the Mixed Just For You set. Now onto the "cook" portion. :)

This is my new obsession. I could eat this every day until forever. It's the Turkey Taco Chili Soup recipe by Skinnytaste. Click HERE for the recipe. It is ridiculously simple and ridiculously delicious.
