MCT Made In Minutes

Hello! It's Made In Minutes day at MyCreativeTime. I used the super fun new The Adventure Begins set for the scooter and the greeting. I colored it with my Copics. I used distress oxide ink and a stencil for the background. Do you have oxide inks yet? I just got them, and I super love them. Make blending a cinch, even in the middle of a card! So streaks! :)

Kitty Tree Cuteness!

Holy cuteness alert, Batman! This is the new Kitty Tree set by PeachyKeenStamps! EEK! I colored the kitties and their tower with my Copics. I used the chisel end of 1 copic marker to make the floor. Easy peasy! I used distress oxide ink and a stencil for the background.

MCT Inspire Me Wednesday

Hello! It's Inspire Me Wednesday at MyCreativeTime! My card today was "inspired" by my need for graduation cards. HA! I used the Grad Night set for the little diploma to stamp the background. I also used the Grad Night set for the graduation hat and the greeting. I used the Pretty Bold Number Dies for the year. I also used the Stitched Rectangular Frames and More Dies, Stitched Vintage Labels, and Sentiment Labels dies. I made it a shaker and filled the number area with sequins, glitter, and stars.

SUPER EXCITING PEACHY KEEN NEWS!

Hello! Amazing news from PeachyKeenStamps! The Stamp Club is coming back! YAY! Real actual physical stamps! Yaaaaaaaaaay! Oh how I've missed that divine Peachy polymer! {it really is the best in the industry!} This first set is beyond cute! I mean COME ON?! Look at the little kitty and scratching post! EEK! I colored the kitty, yarn, and floor with my Copics. I ink blended and used a stencil on the wall. This set isn't just kitties....

Check out this adorable mouse! His cheese has a candle in it. I die. I made this one to look like it's a photo in the phone. I also made it a shaker. :) I colored everything with my Copics. And because I am a 100% kitty addict...here's another kitty card.... {are you freaking out at the cuteness?}

Ack! I just adore these kitties! For this card I used distress inks and water to make a loosey goosey plaid background. I colored the scene, kitty, and yarn with Copics. 

OK, If you're not sufficiently enabled...you must have crafty willpower of steel! HA!

MCT Blog Hop

Hello! You should have arrived from Kim's Blog, if not, head HERE to start at the beginning! For my card I used the new Sea You Soon set for the images and greeting, and the Scalloped Stitched Square Dies for the shaker window. I colored the images with my Copics. I ink blended the background with SimonSaysStamp and Hero Arts Inks. I wanted to get the same look of bleached out spots you get with distress ink and water, so I used Copic Colorless Blender refill to flick on spots with a paintbrush. It worked just how I wanted. Hiya! It's day 3 of sneaks for MyCreativeTime. Today we are sneaking the "freebie" for this release called Stitched Petals, and the new Scalloped Stitched Squares dies. I used the Stitched Petals die to make the background. I cut them in my cardstock, and then used my Copics to color them. I also used the Fun Stitched Edges Dies for the greeting area.

It's day 2 of sneaks for MCT. Today we're sneaking the new Sea You Soon set. I masked off an area to make a little ocean scene. I used distress inks for the water, and Copics for the sand. I colored all the images with my Copics. The greeting is also from the new Sea You Soon set.

MCT Whatever Wednesday

Today is Whatever Wednesday at MyCreativeTime. Today we make whatever we want. I made a quick and simple card today. I used the Healing Wishes set to tone on tone stamp the background, and I used it for the focal image. I tone on tone stamped a greeting from the A Beautiful Day set. I cut a vellum circle with the More Circle Dies and used the Stitched Rectangles Dies for the panel.

MCT Trending Now "Animals"

Hello! It's "Trending Now" day at MyCreativeTime, and today's trend is animals. Today is also my birthday! Woot woot. :) Today's theme is perfect for me because I LOVE animals. I have a membership to the zoo, and I go all the time! We have 2 kinds of flamingo at my zoo, and they're both gorgeous. Anyhoo, I used the Already Missing You set for the flamingo. I stamped and paper pieced them. I used the Mom set to make the background in the shaker window. I used the Love You Bunches set for the greeting. I used the Stitched Rectangular Frames and More dies and the Stitched Oval Dies for the shaker panel.
