Hello! Today we are sneaking a new stamp set from MyCreativeTime called Spring Chicken Backgrounds. For both of my cards I first stamped the Script Type Backgrounds with black stazon ink. I then stamped the new Spring Chicken Background over that with tim holtz embossing ink and heat embossed with clear embossing powder. This way you can see the script through the clear embossing. For this first card I inked it up with scattered straw distress ink. Here you can see it a little better...
I swear it really looks pretty in real life! For this next card I did the same thing BUT I did ink up my paper with spun sugar distress ink before clear embossing so that the "clear" parts would be pink. And I made this card much more dramatic by using aged mahogany distress ink.
See how the "clear" parts are pink? :) and here's a side view to see the shine...
Okie dokie! That's it for me today...pop over to Emma's Blog to see what she and the rest of the team made! :)
