Clown B-day Double Slider Card

Hi all! I made another card using the Everyday Character Face Parts stamps from peachykeenstamps.com. I just LOVE these sets! They are super versatile! I used them to make this cute clown face, and the other day I used them to make a puppy dog! But they can also be used to just make "regular" faces on your projects as well. ;o) For this card I stamped the clowns nose in red ink and then put Glossy Accents over it to give it a domed/plastic nose look. It looks a whole lot better in person without the glare from the camera. My clown and all his accessories were cut at 4 inches from the Paper Doll Dress Up cricut cartridge. The 5 candle was cut from Sweet Treats at 3 inches.
I was asked by my friend to make a card for her lil' guys birthday, so I wanted to make it interactive. KIDS love cards that "do" something. So, I made this double slider card that I am not going to attempt explaining! LOL. You can watch a video by Joy (she is FAB) whose demonstration skills are far superior than any explanation I could give! Click HERE for the video. Thanks Joy!
Well I hope you like my card! I'm off to play with my...drumroll...............NEW GYPSY!!!!!!!!!
Have a GREAT day!

p.s. both ends of the card pop out when the ribbon on top is pulled. :o)

  2. Oh yes, congratulations on your Gypsy. I think you will love it! I LOVE mine. I'm curious what kind of pen you use for your white hand 'stitching'. I've tried several different ones and can't find one I really like. Thanks.

  5. Nikki, I got my little card today and the wonderful doily flowers you made. You're so sweet to put those in there. I'm so delighted to get to use your card, or I just might keep it for inspiration. You ever have those cards that you just love and don't want to give them away because you love them!? Thank you so much for your comment on my froggy card. The idea is scraplifted though, I saw it on a Tshirt one time. :0)
