Trash to Treasure...Mini album
Hi everyone! i started this mini album yesterday, and finished up today. i turned a cheerios box into a custom mini album. it was really simple, i just cut four 5 inch squares, and three 2.5in x 5in tags for in between the pages. i punched the holes for the binding rings with my Crop-a-dile Big Bite...which, by the way cuts through just about anything with hardly any effort! then i grabbed my "K and Company" paper and embellies and went to work...(paper line is Carolyn Gavin)... here's a GOOD TIP to remember when covering the pages and tags with paper...punch the hole back out BEFORE you cover the other side in paper!!! makes things pretty darn tricky if you forget ( i may have forgotten once )...oh my goodness i almost forgot to introduce the STAR of the album!...drumroll please.... this is my furry baby Jinxy-Cedrika...they're pictures of her from when she first showed up on my lanai in December of 2007 right up until now...she is so stinkin' cute! well i may be a tad bias!...well thanks for looking, and i hope i have inspired someone to turn "trash into treasure"
scrapserely yours...Nikki

nice little album - love your blog! I became a follower
ReplyDeletethanks for the love ladies! ;o)
ReplyDeleteIs it okay to use cardboard like that even though it's not acid/lignin free?
ReplyDeleteI don't care that this project isn't acid free. I would never put "important" photos in something that wasn't archival. But this was just a fun project...which will still last a really long time.
ReplyDeleteThis is so stinkin cute! So girly and so creative. I just started following you last week, but you've become one of my favs already. Your style totally fits what I like. In appreciation, I have a little something for ya on my blog. Go check it out when you have a chance:
