Peachy Keen Release Party Challenges.

Hello! I hope this card didn't blind you. ;) Challenge #1 is to make a Christmas card using non traditional colors. I think neon counts as non traditional! HA! I used regular ol' highlighters to color these adorbs penguins from the new July 2013 set from PeachyKeenStamps. I ♥ them! The color on this kinda freaked my camera out, looks better in real life. promise!
That sweet greeting is also from the new July 2013 set from PeachyKeenStamps. Challenge #2 is to create a card with a vacation theme. Well I guess I was thinking summer...and that made me think of ice cream...Anyhoo, here's my card.
This ADORABLE double scoop of ice cream cone is from the new set called Yummies. I stamped them a bunch of time so I could paper piece with my current favorite... Vintage Bliss by Simple Stories. And those faces? Those gloriously cute faces??? They are from the new July 2013 set. I love the simplicity of them, makes them show up very well on busier patterned papers. Score!
That greeting is from the new July 2013 set. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh I love this release!!! Ok...you wanna see another card made with the oh so cute set called Yummies???? Here it is...
See these "trees"? Well, they're actually gumdrops...that were just screaming to be transformed. :) They're from the must have Yummies set. SO CUTE!

Those ridiculously adorable faces are from the new July 2013 set. Did I mention that I ♥ this release??? ;)

Happy 4th of July!!!

Hello from Naval Station Mayport, and HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!!! :) I made 2 patriotic cards this morning. I made the backgrounds for both cards by pouncing Barn Door and Broken China Distress Stains onto cardstock. My very own abstract fireworks backgrounds. :) For this card I used the awesome God Bless The USA Heart Stamp Set from PeachyKeenStamps.
I embossed the white panel with a folder from The Paper Studio {from Hobby Lobby} it is called Tiny Stars. Love those itty bitty stars! :) And here's my other card for today...
For this card I used the My Little Firecracker set from MyCreativeTime. I stamped the star panel on the side with Ranger Archival Jet Black ink. I used the same ink to stamp the greeting. It's my favorite black ink.
And there ya have it! My cards for today!

I hope you and yours have a very happy and safe 4th of July! And perhaps in between bbqing and the fireworks, you can get a little shopping in! :)

Peachy Keen Sneak Peek!!!

Hello Peachy friends!!! Are you ready for some super fun Christmas in July action??? This release is chock full of fabulous Christmas/Winter stamps. For my sneak I stamped the adorbs penguin from the new July 2013 with Charcoal Hero Arts shadow ink onto patterned paper so I could paper piece it. This paper is so cute and I'm addicted! It's the Vintage Bliss 6x6 pap by Simple Stories.
Seriously, isn't this the CUTEST PENGUIN EVER??!!! :) Alright...How about another sneak???

Here is the big and fabulous gingerbread house called Sweet Home. Super cute, right?!!! I paper pieced it, and had a blast doing so!
I used rock candy stickles for the icing and the gumdrop lights. And glossy accents for the candy and such. Looks so cool in real life!
Pop over to the Peachy Keen Blog for more sneaks!

Smile it's your day!

Hello! I'm sharing a card made with a brand spankin' new background stamp from MyCreativeTime. It's called Cartoon Clouds Background and it is seriously swoon worthy! LOVE! It hasn't been release yet, but you can pop over to Emma's Blog for the chance to win it! YAY! She also shows it in her video. It's HUGE and super awesome. It can be used either portrait {like my card} or landscape! I love it so much I want to make it little pj's and cuddle with it while I sleep, but I won't. That would just be weird. ;)

I stamped it with Soft Pool, Mint Julep, and Tide Pool Hero Arts Shadow Inks to get an ombre look. Just ink up your stamp from light to dark to avoid contaminating a pad with a dark ink color. You can see the color a little better here...
Sorry, it's super rainy and dark out, so cruddy photo's. The greeting is from It's All About You and I stamped it with Charcoal Shadow Ink. I used Coffee Break and Build A Banner to stamp the butterflies.  I filled the shaker window with Ocean Breeze, Mint, and Crystal Clear sequins from NeatAndTangled

Be sure to pop over to Emma's Blog to check out her video, and for the chance to win the new and fabulous Cartoon Clouds background.

You're Berry Sweet...some enabling :)

Hello! I made a card with this fabulous Peachy Pick Of The Week. Two super adorable stamp sets for one really great price! Total must have sets in my opinion! :) Here's my card...

I stamped the cute strawberries from the Faceless Fruits set on pattern papers from the Vintage Bliss collection by Simple Stories and paper pieced them. Aren't they adorable?! :)
I white heat embossed the greeting from Fruit Sentiments One on vellum. I'm really loving vellum lately. I use THIS vellum from PaperTreyInk. It's super thick and totally awesome.

Pop over to PeachyKeenStamps to get in on the Peachy Pick Of The Week before the sale ends!

Neon Sunshine Shaker Card

Hello! My card today was made for a sweet girl named Maddy. I saw her story HERE, and definitely wanted to send her a card...you can too! Details HERE. My goal was to make her a card that would make her smile, if even for just a moment. Here it is...
Bright enough?? :) I started by stamping the Here Comes The Sun background by MarketStreetStamps with Neon Pink Hero Arts Shadow Ink. I LOVE this background soooo much! It is still available HERE, but that's it! The yellow on this card??? I used a highlighter from the dollar store. YAY! :) The sweet face on the sun window is from the Sweet And Silly Face Assortment by PeachyKeenStamps
I filled the window with Neon and Crystal Clear sequins from Neat And Tangled. The greeting is from the Everyday Sayings set by Hero Arts. To make the greeting strip pop, I mounted it on some silver paper I made with Brushed Pewter distress stain.

I hope this makes Maddy smile, and I hope YOU have a great weekend!

Thoughtful Thursday

Hello. Today is Thoughtful Thursday at MyCreativeTime. Today we make creations using a thoughtful greeting. For my card today I got inky. VERY INKY. :) I made my own spray mists with distress ink reinkers and water in mini mister bottles. A dropper full in each bottle, and some water. I cut out some masks from Post-It paper with the Stitched Daisy Die from MyCreativeTime. I free hand cut the stems. I stuck them to my cardstock and started spraying. :)
As you can see, because the colors mixed, I got more colors than just the 3 I used. Score! :) To get the white splatters I squirted some white paint on my craft sheet and added lots of water. Then I dipped my paint brush in and tapped it over the cardstock to get the splatters. And here's what became of this inky piece...
I peeled up the masks and used a black marker to outline the flowers. Because the masks got really wet, you can see the stitching lines on the flowers. This looks extra cool in real life. :)
The greeting is from the Vintage Sentiments set from MyCreativeTime. To finish it off, I added some Crystal Clear sequins from Neat And Tangled

I really super love how this turned out! :) Pop over to MyCreativeTime to see more creations!
