2 cards :)

Hiya! I made these cards today to enter into a contest over at Hero Arts. If you follow my little blog regularly, you will have noticed that I have become obsessed with Hero Arts backgrounds! :) Anyhoo, there are 3 sketches to choose from and I chose to make 2 cards using them. For this first card I stamped the background with the Happy Definition stamp. I then stamped the middle panel with the Cling Dots background stamp and heat embossed with white embossing powder. I used spun sugar, worn lipstick, and picked raspberry distress inks to make gradient color {ombre}. I dried it some and spritzed with perfect pearls and water in a mini's the shine :)
Really sparkly and cool in real life. The butterflies are from my favorite 3 in 1 butterfly punch by Martha Stewart crafts. And here is the other card I'm entering...
For this one I stamped the background with the Friend Definition stamp. I just ♥ the definition backgrounds! For the colored panel I stamped the Lotus Background and white heat embossed it. I used the fabulous new mowed lawn distress ink for the color. What a GREAT green! :)
I again used the 3 in 1 butterfly punch. The sentiment is from the new Piles of Smiles set from MyCreativeTime

Wish me luck! :)
