there's no bunny like you...

Hello! Welcome to another Favorite Stamp of the Month for MyCreativeTime! This month we are to choose between Emma's 1st Edition...2nd Edition...or 3rd Edition sets. I chose to use Color Me Happy for my sentiment which is from her 1st Edition. ;) I also used the bunnies from her new stamp set that is called Hello Spring. I stamped them with Tim Holtz Embossing Ink {my fav} and heat embossed with clear powder. I then layered on color from light to dark using the following distress ink colors...Tumbled Glass, Broken China, Faded Jeans and just a little Chipped Sapphire and Shabby Shutters. This technique darkens up the background and really makes the image pop!
This technique is super quick and EASY...I promise! :) This card took about 15 minutes, maybe less! If I wasn't so picky about cutting out my clouds it probably would have been 5 minutes. ;)

Now...head over to Emma's blog to link up your projects you have made with any of the following

  12. What a great way to do this bunny stamp...took me a while to figure it out that the embossing resists the distress inks and is all one paper piece. The stitching and flower bling are perfect!
