Hello everyone! Graduation season will soon be upon us, so I wanted to get a head start! I used my Gypsy to design the custom 2010 cards using my Pooh Font cricut cartridge. I then made girl and boy graduate dolls with different hair colors using the Everyday Paper Dolls cricut cartridge. I made the tassels for their hats with embroidery floss and attached them with mini brads to look like the little "knob" on the top of the hats. For their diploma's, I just tightly rolled paper and tied them with embroidery floss. I hope your week is going great so far! Happy CREATING to you!!!!
Hugs,
Nikki

What a great card. I love it. Maybe I'll do something like that next year. Just finished my cards for graduation today. They will be on my blog in a few days.
ReplyDeleteI love making these paperdolls for graduation cards too, but I LOVE the extra touches you added to yours, especially the 2010 at the bottom. That is a great addition - I LOVE how easy it is to do stuff like that with the Gypsy. Great job!!! I'm sure these will sell really well!
ReplyDeleteThese are adorable I love the way they turned out! Great idea of using emb.thread for the tassels. Great job!
