MCT Sneaks Day One

Hello! It's day one of sneaks for MyCreativeTime! Today we're sneaking the new Large Scallop Stitched Rosette Die. I obviously used it in another way than it's intended use. Yay for stretching your supplies! :) I used the Big Hello Die for the greeting. I also used the Stitched Rectangular Frames and More Dies and the Bunch Of Fun Circles Dies.

MCT Thoughtful Thursday

Hello! It's Thoughtful Thursday at MyCreativeTime. For this first card I used the Pretty Bold Letter Dies to create a greeting. I popped the greeting panel up over a bunch of cardstock strips glued together. Easy and gives you a big impact.

For this card I used the Stitched Honey Comb Die. I cut it out of white, and also a rainbow of cardstocks. I finished it off the the Big Hello Die.

MCT Tag It - Watermelon Card

Hello! It's Tag It Tuesday at MyCreativeTime. I used the tag from the Holiday Tags set. I created the "watermelon" background paper after being inspired by Denise on Periscope as she made a treat bag from a kit. I blended Twisted Citron distress ink onto watercolor paper, and then used the Stripey Background and Mowed Lawn distress ink. I spritzed the stamp with water before stamping to get a loose impression. {I now know that stamp is retired. oops. But you could easily just paint stripes} :) I made the watermelon with circle dies. Colored it with distress inks. The face is from the You Make Life Sweet set. The greeting is from the Sweet Wishes set.

MCT Inspire Me Wednesday

Hello! It's Inspire Me Wednesday at MyCreativeTime! My card today was "inspired" by my need for graduation cards. HA! I used the Grad Night set for the little diploma to stamp the background. I also used the Grad Night set for the graduation hat and the greeting. I used the Pretty Bold Number Dies for the year. I also used the Stitched Rectangular Frames and More Dies, Stitched Vintage Labels, and Sentiment Labels dies. I made it a shaker and filled the number area with sequins, glitter, and stars.

MCT Trending Now "Animals"

Hello! It's "Trending Now" day at MyCreativeTime, and today's trend is animals. Today is also my birthday! Woot woot. :) Today's theme is perfect for me because I LOVE animals. I have a membership to the zoo, and I go all the time! We have 2 kinds of flamingo at my zoo, and they're both gorgeous. Anyhoo, I used the Already Missing You set for the flamingo. I stamped and paper pieced them. I used the Mom set to make the background in the shaker window. I used the Love You Bunches set for the greeting. I used the Stitched Rectangular Frames and More dies and the Stitched Oval Dies for the shaker panel.

MCT Sneaks Day One

Hello! It's day one of sneaks for MyCreativeTime. Today we're showing off the new Beautiful Day set. I used the just the coordinating dies to create my own flowers. I colored them with my Copics. I made 3 versions of the same card. I used the new Beautiful Day set for all the greetings.

I used the Stitched Square Dies for the windows, and the Stitched Rectangular Frames And More Dies for the panels.

I added sequins to finish them off.

MCT- To Die For Tuesday

Hello! It's To Die For Tuesday at MyCreativeTime. Today we use our dies in creative ways. I used the new Scalloped Egg Dies and Pretty Edge Dies to make fringe-y tulips. :) I first cut the grass edge die, and then used the egg die to cut out the flowers. I colored them with my Copics. I used the Stitched Rectangle Frames And More dies and Stitched Oval Dies for the panel. The greeting is from the new Favorite Bunny set.

I think the flowers turned out pretty, and hooray for a new way to use our dies! :)

MCT Blog Hop

I used the new Scalloped Egg Dies to cut my window in a panel cut with the Stitched Rectangular Frames And More. I inked the grass cut with the new Pretty Edge Dies with distress ink. I also inked the sky with distress inks. I splattered water for a splotchy look. I colored the bunny from the new Favorite Bunny set with Copics. The greeting is also from Favorite Bunny.

MCT "Weird Holiday" Day :)

Hello! We're doing a new thing over at MyCreativeTime. We pick a "Weird Holiday", and then make a card inspired by it. This time I chose "Bird Day" which is January 5th. Who knew?! LOL :) I'm actually borderline obsessed with birds, so this was an easy choice for me. Anyhoo...I used the new Heart Love Note Dies to create my window. I used the Fun Tweet Me Dies for the branch, and the Fun Tweet Me Stamps for the bird and greeting. I colored everything with my Copics.

MCT Tutorial Thursday :)

Hello! It's Tutorial Thursday at MyCreativeTime, so today I have a little tutorial for you. I have used the Gobble Gobble set to make this card. I started by cutting a piece of watercolor paper with the Stitched Rectangular Frames And More dies. Here are photos of the process...

You can click the photo to enlarge to better see the steps. This is super easy, and makes a really pretty background using the little leaves in the Gobble Gobble set. Start by stamping them with distress ink, and then wet the with a wet brush or a water brush. Then smoosh the ink pads on a clear block and add water to flick splatters. You end up with a super fun background. :) I stamped the greeting from the Gobble Gobble set onto a banner from the Sentiment Label Dies. After the distress ink has dried, stamp some leaves in black to tie in with the black greeting. To finish, I added a few sequins.

MCT Whatever Wednesday- Happy First Birthday Jackson! :)

Hello! It's "Whatever Wednesday" at MyCreativeTime. Today we make whatever we want. :) Well folks, today our precious nephew Jackson turns ONE! This is the card I made him for his special day. I used the Light The Candles set for the cupcake. I colored it with my Copics. I turned the "1" from the Number Fun Dies into a candle using the flame from the Light The Candles set. I used the Stitched Party Dies to make the banner, and the Alpha Pack to personalize it with his age and initial. I used the Stitched Rectangular Frames And More Dies and the Stitched Postage Frame Dies as well.
