MCT-Fave Stamp Of The Month- Bonjour

Hello! It's time for Favorite Stamp Of The Month again at MyCreativeTime. This month it's the Springtime In Paris set. For my card, I started by die cutting a panel of watercolor paper with the Stitched Rectangular Frames And More dies. I then white heat embossed the Eiffel Tower and greeting from the Springtime In Paris set. I used distress inks and water to paint the scene. I wanted to bring in the pink of the patterned paper, so I added little dot flowers with a distress marker and went over them with a smidge of water. Easy peasy. :)

If I come back as a zombie....

Hello! I am so excited for the new show Fear The Walking Dead that is starting tonight, so I made a zombie card today to celebrate it. :) I used the awesome Faceless Zombie Kids 2 set by PeachyKeenStamps. This set is only 5 bucks! If you want it, hurry because when it's gone, it's gone. I colored her with my Copics. I added dots and stripes to her shirt. The greeting is from a set that it no longer available, sorry. I used the Stitched Rectangular Frames And More Dies and the new Stitched Square Dies Inside And Out by MyCreativeTime. I blended Fog and Smoke SimonSaysStamp inks for the background.

I wheelie like you!

Hello! I made a card to play along in the current Lawnscaping Challenge. Here's my card...

I used the adorable Wheelie Like You stamp set and the Wheelie Like You Lawn Cuts dies. I used the wheel die to partially die cut, so it is all one piece. I used my stamp-a-ma-jig tool to stamp the wheel on the die cut piece.  I embossed the bottom with a dots embossing folder. I colored my hamster and wheel with Copics. I fussy cut out the hamster, and put him in his wheel. The sweet greeting is also from the Wheelie Like You set by Lawn Fawn. I blended some Sea Glass ink by SimonSaysStamp behind the wheel...and finished it off with some sequins.

MCT Sneaks Day 3

Hello! It's day 3 of sneaks at MyCreativeTime! Today we are sneaking the new Fall Friends set. I've used the sweet little raccoon and his coordinating die to make a partial die cut window. I also used the fabulous new Stitched Squares Inside And Out dies. I colored the raccoon with W gray Copic markers. I used Sea Glass and Audrey Blue SimonSaysStamp inks for the sky, and Catkin SSS ink for the grass. The greeting is also from the new Fall Friends set.

MCT Sneaks Day 1

Hello! It's day 1 of sneaks for MyCreativeTime. Today we are sneaking the fabulous new Stitched Squares Inside And Out Dies. I made this super simple card by watercoloring with abandoned coral and dried marigold distress inks. I then cut the watercolor piece with the dies all together. I then put them on my card popping every other square up. The greeting is from the Hey There Little Lady set.

MCT Trending Now- Embossing

Hello! It's Trending Now day at MyCreativeTime. Today we are taking a look at embossing. I made 2  similar cards because my "practice" piece turned out pretty. :) For both cards I started by embossing the die from the Hey There Little Lady set into watercolor card stock that I had already cut with the Stitched Oval Dies. I used the Spellbinders tan embossing mat to emboss the die. Then I gold heat embossed the coordinating image from Hey There Little Lady. I used distress inks and water to paint the flowers for both cards. 

For this card I gold heat embossed the greeting from the My Thoughts Are With You set onto the banner from the Vintage Labels Dies. I gold heat embossed the Grainy Wood Background onto a panel cut with the Stitched Rectangular Frames And More Dies. 

For this card I again gold heat embossed a greeting from the My Thoughts Are With You set. I also used the Stitched Rectangular Frames And More Dies. I kept this card much more informal. I used a dot embossing folder to emboss the patterned paper I chose. {which I'm not sure I've done before and I super love the way it looks!} :)

We're birds of a feather

Hello! My new goodies from this release by MyFavoriteThings arrived, and I just had to color a birdie! I'm playing along with the MyFavoriteThings Sketch Challenge. The new Birds Of Paradise set is sooooo awesome! Here is my card...

I wanted to keep everything white, so that super colorful bird could be the star of the show. I colored him with my Copics...I'd list the colors, but that might take a year. ;) The bird and greeting are from the Birds Of Paradise set by MyFavoriteThings. To finish him off, I gave him a googlie eye. :)

My Copic Storage

Hello! I hope you're having a great week! For this card I used the Cactus Digital File by PeachyKeenStamps for the cute cactus in the pot, and for the funny greeting. The face is from the Black Eyed Peaches Assortment set by PeachyKeenStamps. I colored the cactus and pot, and the mat with my Copics. I used the Stitched Rectangular Frames And More Dies, Vintage Labels Dies, and the Bunch Of Fun Circles Dies all by MyCreativeTime.
