Friends are flowers...

Hello my dear bloggy friends! I just recently got my order from PaperTreyInk and I knew immediately that I wanted to use the new paper and ribbon in the Autumn Rose color. It is SO PRETTY!!! So I busted out my Roses Background stamp from PinkByDesign and colored it to match. :) I LOVE this stamp. I mean I seriously LOVE LOVE LOVE it!
I wanted to keep this simple to really show off the pretty Roses background stamp. The sentiment is from the Life's A Garden set from PinkByDesign

I hope you're having a WONDERFUL DAY!!!

PeachyKeen Challenge 62

Hello and welcome to another PeachyKeen Challenge! This time we have the above sketch to follow. I kept my card very simple so that the stamped image could have center stage. I colored the ginger girl from the Faceless Gingerbread Doll Large set from PeachyKeenStamps.com.

Her adorable face is from the Snowmany Face Assortment. I colored her with my prismacolor colored pencils and blended with odorless mineral spirits. I used my sakura stardust glitter pen to add sparkle...you can see it here...

I used my sew easy tool to do the hand stitching along the side. Ok, pop over to the Challenge Blog to see the other creations and to play along!

Monday Madness.....Imagine That

Hello! I will again be playing along with Monday Madness using patterned paper because I don't have a Cricut Imagine. I used the Small Talk stamp set for the polka dot border and the sentiment. The spider is from the Paper Doll Dress Up cartridge. Ok, that's my super simple card for today. Pop over to Emma's Blog to see what she and the rest of the design team made! :)

Gratitude is happiness...

Hello! Boy I had fun gettin' inky making this card! This actually started as just a tag, but I liked it so much I wanted to make a card. I made the tag and ran it thorough my vagabond in the Textile embossing folder. I flicked on copper perfect pearls and water using a paint brush. I also did that on the leaves and corrugated border.
Here you can see how fun and shiny perfect pearls are! LOVE....I stamped the argyle stamp from the Build a Banner kit from MyCreativeTime and over that I stamped the leaf from the Faceless Fall Fun 2 set from PeachyKeenStamps. I went over the lines of the leaf stamp with stickles. The sentiment is from the Bountiful Blessings set from PinkByDesign. I stamped it on the Curly Label die from MyCreativeTime. OH forgot to say that the base of my card was embossed with the Cassie's Brocade folder. I'd list all the distress inks I used, but it would be a LONG post! HA

Merry Christmas Deer

Hiya! Here is a super simple Christmas card. I stamped and colored the deer from the Beary Merry Christmas  set from PinkByDesign
I added glossy accents to the nose to make is shiny. :) I didn't add a sentiment because the patterned paper already says Merry Christmas....OH, see those cool circles??? I stamped the Circles Background from PinkByDesign and used it for the borders.

HAPPY FRIDAY!!!!

p.s. the patterned paper is from the 12 days of Christmas collection from My Mind's Eye

Throwback Thursday

Hello! Welcome to another Throwback Thursday challenge with MyCreativeTime. For this challenge we are using an image image from an older FONT cricut cartridge. Just pick and image from a "font" cartridge to use. I got my ornament from the Lyrical Letters cartridge. I did use my gypsy to give it layers.
I used the houndtooth stamp from the Build a Banner Kit to make my patterned paper strip. I used my stamp-a-ma-jig to line it up perfectly. The sentiment is from the All Around Christmas set from MyCreativeTime. Pop over to Emma's BLOG to see what she and the rest of the DT made and to play along!!!! See ya later gators!

holiday greetings

Hiya! My card for today isn't as "cutesie" as I usually make, but I think it turned out pretty. :) I stamped the Hounsdstooth Background stamp from PinkByDesign with lipstick red colorbox fluid chalk ink. I just LOVE those inks! I stamped the cardinal image from the Boughs of Holly stamp set from PinkByDesign. I added the color with prismacolor colored pencils and blended with odorless mineral spirits.
The sentiment is also from the Boughs of Holly stamp set from PinkByDesign. I just happened to have some black and cream houndstoothish ribbon. ;)
