MCT- Trending Now "Monograms"

Hello! It's Trending Now day at MyCreativeTime. Today we are all making cards with a monogram. I chose to use the "U" from the Uppercase Fun Dies. I cut it out of the Bunch Of Fun Circles Dies to make a little monogram shaker. Then I used the Speech Bubble Sentiments set to stamp lots of words to describe "U". :) I stamped all the words to make a background, and then I used the biggest die in the Stitched Rectangular Frames And More dies to cut it out. Then I used the smallest die in that set to cut the middle out. I used the middle die in that set to cut some vellum...and then I layered them all together. This way the words still line up. :) I used bubble gum, soft cantaloupe, butter bar, green hills, tide pool, and passion flower Hero Arts Shadow inks.

Trending Now Thursday

Hello! Today is a new feature at MyCreativeTime called Trending Now. Our trend for today is GOLD! Ahhhh, gold. :) I made my card base and layer with the Rectangular Stitched Frames and More dies. I gold heat embossed the Stripey Background Stamp. I inked up the splotches from the Family Is Everything set with Salty Ocean and Mowed Lawn distress inks...spritzed with water, and stamped them on the background. 

I used the tag from the Tag Die Layers set. I used the wreath from Pretty Spring Wreaths set with Salty Ocean and Mowed Lawn distress inks...misted with water to soften and blend...and stamped it and the flowers from the same set. I fussy cut the flowers and leaves that I also gold embossed. The greeting is from the Pretty Spring Wreaths set as well. I finished it off with some gold sequins.
