You Rock

Hello! The theme of the Periscope Art Challenge this week is Music. I made this card as a kind of tribute to David Bowie's "Space Oddity". What an incredible talent he was. :( I used the Space Cadet set by Paper Smooches for the little planets and the alien. I drew in the huge planet. Then I went nuts with distress inks. If you look closely, the galaxy is covered in music notes.

Hiya! I made a card to play along in the current Paper Smooches Sparks challenge. 

Here is my card...

I used the adorable Spiffy Scooters set from Paper Smooches. I paper pieced it and did some coloring with my Prismacolor colored pencils. I added wink of stella glitter marker to the "metal" parts and the lights. 

The hearts and greeting are also from the Spiffy Scooters set by Paper Smooches. I colored the hearts with 2 different pink highlighters. Fancy! Ha! I added wink of stella and glossy accents to them as well. Oh, and also glossy accents on the lights. :)

You're My Universe

Hiya! Today I made a card to play along in the Paper Smooches Challenge. It's anything goes this time, and here's my card...

I started my creating my Valentiney galaxy background. I used the following Distress Inks... worn lipstick, picked raspberry, barn door, and festive berries. After I got it how I liked it, I splattered white acrylic paint on to make "stars". I used the adorable Space Cadet stamp set by Paper Smooches. I colored in the planets and the alien dude with Prismacolor colored pencils.

The greeting is also from the Space Cadet stamp set. To finish it off, I added clear wink of stella glitter marker, sequins, and glossy accents.

Hi Hi Hi :)

Hiya! :) I decided to make another card for the Paper Smooches Sparks Challenge. I used the Space Cadet stamp set by Paper Smooches for my little aliens and the planet. I paper pieced them with Simple Stories papers. They were just screaming for googlie eyes! :) 

I did some stamp surgery and got the "hi" from the Spiffy Scooters set by Paper Smooches. I embossed the background with a dots folder and used the Fun Stitched Edges Dies from MyCreativeTime for my scalloped border.

Scooting By To Say Hi

I'm happy to say that my other scooter card I made for my first Paper Smooches Sparks Challenge was a "Featured Player"! I didn't win, but that's pretty rad! :) So here is another card I made with the oh so adorable Spiffy Scooters set by Paper Smooches. I'm entering this into the current Paper Smooches Sparks Challenge. I paper pieced it with my fave Simple Stories Vintage Bliss papers. 

The greeting is also from the Spiffy Scooters set by Paper Smooches. LOVE these scooters! :)

Toot Toot Beep Beep

Hello! Yesterday my first ever Paper Smooches stamps arrived. SO CUTE!!! For my card today I paper pieced this adorable scooter from the Spiffy Scooters set by Paper Smooches. I used papers from Simple Stories. 

 I masked the greeting from the Spiffy Scooters set so I could make it longer. I put the cute little scooter on a wobble so it wiggles. :) 

I'm entering this into the Paper Smooches Sparks Challenge. :)
